Zippity Doo’s Cuts for Kids

This is a really cute place! Especially for their first hair cut! I took my son here for his first hair cut and they made our experience a memorable one! The woman that did my son’s hair did such a good job considering he was crying and kept moving around.
Overall, It was a very a great experience and would definitely go back!

Christine was great with my son! She was very patient and took her time. Definitely a perfectionist. We will be back!!!

Michelle has been cutting my son’s hair for 2.5 years now! She does a great job and listens to what I want, as we keep his hair long. My son never cries due to all the fancy drama this shop has for the little ones. Definitely a bit pricy but worth it!

Walked in to see if we can get our sons hair cut. Our mistake. «Zippy Doo is very busy, you must make an appointment» The lady is currently working by herself as the owner is on vacation.

Second time here and we had the best experience ever with Lorraine, she’s the best with kids, very sweet and nice lady you can see for yourself on my video.

The tv helps a lot of ur little one likes a show. They give him a balloon which loves at the end. We came back 6 weeks later again and I just love it.

Awesome! We took our baby for her first haircut and Lorraine was super patient and attentive. My baby was crying but she comforted her and played some Dora for her. She was sweet and caring. Always asked me about the length and if it was ok to cut more or not. They have very cool little cars and they sanitize them before your child’s haircut. She also gave us a discount coupon for my baby’s first haircut! She gave us a certificate of first haircut with hair keepsake.
Loved this place and definitely coming back!

Love Love Love Zippity Doo’s! I’ve taken my son to Zippity Doo’s since his first hair cut. I brought him today to fix the butcher job he received at another place (my fault for bringing him elsewhere!!). Lorraine fixed his hair and he looks great! They have so much patience and are great with kids. I will only bring my kids here to have their hair cut!

I’m new to the category of «hairstylists for kids», so I don’t really know if Zippity Doo’s is at the top of the game, but I have nothing but praise for my son’s first haircut experience. The barber chairs are cute little cars, and there is a DVD library to distract the tots while hair is cut. Our stylist Christine was very patient, and very thorough — despite my boy’s thrashing and protestations, Christine was persistent and gave him a great scissor cut. She wasn’t shy about telling us when, where, and how to hold him. It’s clear that these folks have done this before. When we were all done, there was a balloon to be had, and a post-​trauma sit-​down at the blocks table. Blocks and balloons make everything better!
They have toys and stuff for sale, and clothes for older kids (girls?). The price wasn’t cheap, but I feel like the money was well spent. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — I’ll pay, if it’s good service, and it was. Well done, Zippity Doo.
