Established in 1975.

Ernie’s Carpet Care opened for business in 1975 in southern California. The family moved the business to Woodinville in 1986 and has been serving the Greater Eastside, Seattle and Snohomish County ever since. Many of our customers have been with us for several decades. We are proud to say 90% of our business comes from repeat business and referrals.

Wow! My carpets are beautiful!
Ernie and Joy are so great to work with. Very professional, accommodating and honest with estimate, etc. I was in a pinch to get my carpets stretched prior to moving and they totally bent over backwards to fit me in when they were booked out for weeks!
I would recommend them highly to family and friends!

I was referred to Ernie’s to repair my carpet. I had a couple areas where our dog (as a puppy) chewed holes in the carpet. We waited until she was a bit older to repair it. Gus came out and because of the wait, one area needed a bit more fixing than expected because the carpet had separated from the backing.
Gus fixed it all with remnants we had saved from our upstairs remodel. He also fixed the upstairs doorways that no longer had tack strips, as we had had hardwood flooring installed.
He was here for about 2+ hours and everything looks GREAT.
Scheduling was FAST, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pricing was about what I was expecting to pay. Not super expensive, but obviously a lot less than replacing the whole carpet!
Thanks to Ernie’s for saving our carpet!

This is a great company that provides great service. We looked for someone to clean our carpets to help get our house ready to sell and came across Ernie’s Carpet Care. Ernie came out and provided great advice and an reasonable estimate. Joy managed to squeeze us into their schedule very quickly and did a great job in revitalizing our carpet. We received an offer within 5 days and actually had someone mention at how good the carpets looked! I would highly recommend Ernies Carpet Care and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Ernie’s Carpet Care is hands down one of the best service organizations I have ever worked with.
You can tell what you are getting from Ernie’s from first time of contact with them. They are polite and knowledgeable on the telephone, show up when they say they will be there and make the entire carpet cleaning experience a pleasure. On top of all of this the work they do is fantastic! The meticulous attention to detail in treating your home and personal items as if they were there own.

Over the years, I have truly enjoyed working with Joy and her husband Ernie. Owners of the company. For these reasons when my parents were in desperate need of a carpet cleaning I knew I could count on Ernie’s. I called Joy late on a Friday evening and since she works around the clock, she booked a cleaning for my parents the very next day. Not because they didn’t have a dozen other jobs to do that day, but because she made sure her customers really are receiving outstanding service with the best experience possible. To top it off, my Father who is a very picky, Italian man, said that they preformed the best carpet cleaning he has ever seen. Our neighbor recommended Ernie’s carpet care over the other ‘name brand’ carpet cleaning services. I am so happy we did, the customer service has been wonderful. They ask about the household as far as pets, children, etc. We were put on the schedule the week I called. The staff member who did the cleaning Anthony was very polite, professional, and fast. He did a walk through of the areas and asked questions about spots. The best part is there is no smell or residue! We will be using Ernie’s carpet service in the future. Our carpets look great and very happy with the service as well.

I called Ernie’s after realizing I had not cleaned the carpet in my office since it was installed four years ago. Anthony was sent out the same day and did a wonderful job getting all the spots out of our traffic areas. Whatever they used to clean the spots was super mellow and did not cause any toxic smells which I appreciate. I know that truck mounted cleaning is best for carpets but I also know that not all cleaners know how to use them properly. When Anthony left the floor was already nearly dry (which is what is supposed to happen) He even offered to stay an extra half an hour and leave his fan on because he knew my business was open and people would be walking on it shortly.
The package of literature he left was impressive and let me know how to take care of my carpet in the future. Bonus was a bottle of spot remover.
Very professional … VERY courteous.
They will tell you up front that they are not the cheapest but I feel like you get what you pay for when it comes to this type of service.

We bought our area rug over 15 years ago, and finally decided to have it professionally cleaned after we moved to the Eastside. After messaging a few companies about their prices, we chose Ernie’s because Joy, the owner/​manager, was responsive while remaining cautious (because she had not yet seen our rug) and took care to ask about the materials (100% wool) and the size (8×8).
I made an appointment to drop off my rug and was happy to see the technician (Anthony) arrive promptly at the scheduled time. He inspected the rug and confirmed that it met his expectations for the quote, and also asked if we were in a hurry (we were not).
Ernie’s called me as soon as the rug was ready, and Joy was kind enough to offer to have Anthony drop the rug off at no extra charge. He gave a range of times, and texted when he was close. He then unrolled it to allow us to marvel at its cleanliness — it was, according to my wife, as clean as it used to be before barfy cats and messy kids.
TL;DR: Prompt, courteous, effective. Contact Ernie’s for all rug (and carpet) cleaning needs.

I just had Anthony from Ernie’s clean my carpets. They were a mess due to my 15yr old deaf and blind dog doing her business all over. I tried to keep up with it using a really good home carpet cleaner. But nothing beats a good steam cleaning with enzymes and finished with carpet protector. I will use them again! I booked Ernie to install carpet in 3 bedrooms on our new house. He personally came to look at the house then escorted me to a carpet warehouse where I got to chose and look at EVERYTHING! While a little overwhelmed I was also super excited to have so many options and know what I was actually paying. Ernie sent me home with a sample so I could be sure it was the color I wanted. We ordered the next day and got the carpet installed the following week (carpet had to be ordered). They were fast and very professional! His wife was a pleasure to work with as well! I would recommend this company to everybody.
