A Cut In Time

Can’t believe I haven’t post a review for this place!!!
I guess words alone can’t describe my experience. I love this place so so much, Dino never fail to amaze me. He is so nice and have a godlike hand. Dino do and recommend things not for the money but everything is coming from his passion. I come in let him know what I want to do and he would let me know if it will be a good match or tell me an alternative that’s is better for me
I can’t thanks him enough. I would get so many compliments from my friends and coworkers everytime I visit this place.
I usually do highlight but today I want to change things up and got an ombré and once again it was beyond amazing.
I will definately be coming back for some more adventure

Dino is the absolute best. He has been doing my hair for years (my mom’s, too) and he never ceases to amaze me. I have extremely thick, curly, long, dark brown hair. Dino manages to lighten it to whatever color I want, and leaves my hair feeling like silk. Within hours of getting my hair done, I was getting compliments left and right. His prices are unbeatable and I will never go to anyone else!

I’m one of the regular patrons of the Haircutters who recently got orphaned by their mass closings. I’d been going to my stylist, Babette, for over twenty years there. In fact, she’s so popular, I sometimes have to wait [gasp] ten-​fifteen minutes for my cut (that is, when I come without an appointment). Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find the place closed!
Thankfully, I found that Babette has moved to a Cut in Time. In the time I couldn’t find her, I had to visit a West LA stylist who couldn’t give me what I’d come to expect from Babette over the years (and he was expensive to boot!). Well, sometimes change yields good results. While the Haircutters is no more, Babette has found a substantial upgrade at a Cut in Time. Compared to the Haircutters’ bland décor, a Cut in Time takes you out of SoCal for a short mental vacation to the Mediterranean. For someone who comes from West LA specifically to get his haircut by Babette, the store’s location close to the freeway is also a welcome change!
Sure, you can go to a salon and pay $ 80+ for a similar stylist’s time. For me, you can’t beat the per dollar quality a place like a Cut in Time offers.

For anyone wondering, Stephanie is not here anymore! I used to see her at Nail Oasis and then read that she had moved here and so I immediately called to make an appointment and was informed that she is now working from home. I have not actually been to this salon, but Stephanie gets 5 stars!

Ben is who you want to see if you want a great haircut!!!, the best haircut I’ve gotten in a while! I will be definitely going back to this place, very professional and friendly environment, I’m very satisfied with everything and I would recommend anyone who wants to get a great haircut to go and check this place out.

Stephanie is the waxing lady now at this salon and she is amazing. I’ve been seeing her for 3 years now and I will never see anyone else ever again. I’ve never had someone give so much care and precision to my eyebrows. I feel so beautiful when I have her do my waxing. She always greets with a welcoming hug and really becomes a friend. She also does amazing facials. Stephanie is very experienced, and a very kind talented lady.

Stephanie for waxing is the best! I will never trust anyone else with my eyebrows! Totally makes you comfortable with those waxing’s in a bit more intimate places ;)

Stephanie is amazing and will be joining the salon at the end of the month. I have been seeing her for the last 10+ years for facials and waxing. As a person she is so refreshing and always pleasant. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a quick haircut this is a great place to have plenty of workstations there’s always her stylist available the wait time is not that long story is very clean and very reasonably priced

Ashour is wonderful. Proficient in color, keratin, cut and styling. A hair professional who listens to what you desire and does his best advise and guide and gets the job done beautifully.

I have been coming here for 6 years and not once been disappointed. MicheL and Dino ALWAYS do fabulous jobs and are very nice, accommodating people. Fair prices. I have gotten a facial here too recently, and that went great as well.

Annie is the best haircut I have ever had. She is so good that I have been seeing her since 1999. Annie moved to the east cost 2 years ago, and that’s when I realized how talented she really is. I went on a mission to find a comparable haircut. All said and done I went through 9 different places searching for the same quality haircut that Annie delivered every time. I even spent $ 80 for a hair cut and still not comparable. Annie is simply the best! Great cut, flexible appointments and great price!

Haircuts are just as good and what I want as places that make me pay far more. $ 20 has never left cheap results for me. Staff professional, friendly, and clean.

I have trusted Annie with my hair since I was a teenager, and couldn’t be happier with her service. After she moved to the East Coast, I was bummed out — and when I found out she was back in the Valley doing hair, I was ecstatic.
She listens, is knowledgeable and personable and is genuinely interested in giving her clients exactly what they ask for/​want, while offering her expert advice if solicited.
I had a horrible experience with another colorist over the weekend, and although Annie has never colored my hair (just given me great cuts, and blow outs) she told me to come in right away, to look at what she could do to help me. I raced over after work, and she was able to tone down a set of horrific orange streaks right in the front of my head. I will definitely go in for color in the future, now that I know she’s a wiz at that too :)
I am so happy to know I have a great, local stylist who knows what she’s doing!

I’ve never had the opportunity to write a review on this place but I’ve been coming to this shop for about a year now. The owners Dino and Asher are great guys and are extremely knowledgable with both women/men’s products (have had to buy a couple of items for my girlfriend in the past). Sofia is my stylist and does an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I’ve gone through a couple of different hair styles in the last year and Sofi has always been able to adapt to my requests. I’ve recommended several friends to her all with raving reviews of her work. I would strongly recommend «A Cut In Time» and especially Sofia for her amazing work! I’ll definitely be back for more cuts in the future!

I’ve been coming to this place for 10+ years. I love getting my haircut by Ben and enjoy seeing the rest of the stylists there who are always so friendly!
Their main business is hair cuts/​styling but they also have a private waxing room as well. I’ve always been a satisfied customer. Great place!
