I came here because I wanted to get the discount that’s currently offered on Unilocal.10% off. I’m not being cheap but it’s called doing business the right way.
When I first walked in. The lady told a dozen roses were $ 35 bucks! I said great. Let me get a bouquet of roses please. I also bought a card as well. I asked the lady about the 10% discount that they currently offer on the Unilocal app. She said she knew nothing about it but wanted me to ask the owner. So she asked the owner and I heard him from afar say «it’s only for holidays». I went about my business and started writing on my card I was buying. When I was done the lady was done which by the way she was extremely nice and sweet went ahead and changed me. I went ahead and asked him if he would honor the 10% discount. He either didn’t even know it was there or acted as if he didn’t know. He looked at my phone and said «Yes it’s fine».
The lady charged me but then she didn’t know how to calculate the tax so she went up to him and asked him. The guy comes back and says «By the way, the prices went up. She gave you the wrong price. It’s now $ 59.99 for a bouquet of roses but I’ll go ahead And do it for $ 50.00 and honor the 10%. So it’ll be $ 45.00. Do you guys see what he just did? Nice try buddy on wanting to honor the price then being an ass about it and raising the price just to not lose out on your 10%
How can your employee not know about a price change? Especially a huge price increase from $ 35.00 a bouquet to $ 60.00 a bouquet?

I went to Abbey’s Flower Garden this last Saturday and needed a last minute order of two flower arrangements and 7 flower crowns. This was a very last minute order as I needed everything to be done by Sunday morning. Pablo did a beautiful job and was able to get it all done in time! The only thing I was just a bit disappointed about is that he didn’t have time to make an additional flower crown for a newborn baby; however, with the very last minute order it is completely understandable (each flower crown takes almost half an hour to make!) I would definitely recommend this Florist for anyone looking for beautiful and reasonable arrangements!

Great service! I didn’t realize I was missing some address information for the recipient of the flowers and the owner of the store went out of his way to deliver the flowers. Really appreciated it. Recommend them!

My sister ordered my flowers from Abbey’s and when they arrived, they were BEAUTIFUL, and when I sent a picture to my sister, she was disappointed because they sent white roses and she knows that yellow roses are my favorite, she had specifically asked for yellow roses. She called Abbey’s and stated that the roses were white not yellow, in an instant they assured my sister that some yellow roses would be sent and they apologized for the mixup.
Yes, I did receive my yellow roses and they are even more BEAUTIFUL.

These folks were very friendly, and their balloon arrangement was great. However, when I called late on a Friday to order balloons, I was assured they would arrive on Saturday before noon. Well, by 2:45pm they still weren’t there, and when I called to find out about it, the person on the phone said, «Let me check and call you back.» So I waited… and got no callback. By 3:30 there was still no delivery, so I called again, and they said, «The delivery is on the truck. I’ll call my driver right now and call you right back.» And I waited again… no callback. I called them again about 4:10 and they said «Oh, those were delivered a long time ago.» with no apology for not calling me back.
It was strange enough that they would consider about 30 or 40 minutes «a long time ago,» but I got zero apology for the lateness of the delivery, nor for the failure to call me back, thus — only 2 stars.
I’m not ready to give up on them, since they are probably my only option for balloon delivery (I live far away, and my family is in Woodland Hills), but I really hope Unilocal posts like this might give them a «heads up» to try better next time, and with other customers. Meanwhile, I’ll try to find a better option.

My husband had a beautiful bouquet of fresh spring flowers delivered to my office from Abbeys Flower Garden. They are absolutely amazing. They are a week old today and still looking beautiful. Without hesitation, 4 stars!

I have now used them for several occassions for my elderly parents. My parents absouletly love the arrangements, and the pictures they send show great creativity in arrangement. I also appreciate the modest cost and prompt service. The ease of ordering and getting a fantastic arrangement with unique specimens makes this the go to place in west valley. Another great job !!
tip: excellent when you need a color theme, but incredible when you leave it up to his creative style as well !

Abbey’s Flower Garden created and delivered a stunning arrangement of orchids that I sent as a thank you gift. The employees were great, and very attentive even though the original flowers I wanted were no longer available. The final product was GORGEOUS! Thank you again!

This was a find. Some of the best flowers I’ve seen in the valley for a long time and my grandfather was a florist. I came in for a holiday bouquet and it was beautiful. Thanks Pablo

Ordered online and had a phone call within a few minutes to confirm my delivery date and I couldn’t be happier with the arrangement sent to my husband! I wish this florist was closer to our home in Salinas, I’d use them every time! Thank you so much for making my husband and his students on the speech team he coaches feel special with the excellent bouquet and chocolates!

Pablo is the absolute best, he really knows how to treat his customers and always comes through with a beautiful arrangement.
His prices are great, and he goes out of his way for his customers,

I am only giving 1 star because I got my item delivered on time and the man on the phone was nice.
I am unhappy with the product that was delivered. I paid $ 25 more to get a fuller and bigger version of something that they had on their website, but didn’t receive something nicer. The man on the phone said that if I purchased the more expensive one, it would be fuller and nicer. Yes it is bigger I think, but it is not nicer. It looks so sloppy and is about to grow out of the pot. Which is not even the same pot as online.
I would not have given this to my mom if I knew this is what it looked like. I should have just gotten regular flowers =(I feel bad and sad that she had to come home to this. I don’t think it put a smile on her face on her special day. And what happened to the pebbles and nice platform? Is that false advertising? This plant is supposed to look serene and tranquil. It does not.
I guess bigger doesn’t always mean better. Maybe that’s my fault. In my opinion it doesn’t look nicer. I just paid extra to get a bigger sloppier version of what they had online.
You’re plants online are beautiful. Too bad they are not in person. I wish I was able to give my mom something beautiful. I will never order over the phone from anyone anymore. Can’t trust other peoples judgment. Oh… and they wrote my message on 3 separate cards. How dumb do you think that looked?! =(
I will try to upload the two plants so you know what I’m talking about. Maybe I’m just crazy, but they do not look as nice, even in person.

Dear Cindy I greatly appreciate if you can take the time and upload the second arrangement that was delivered and probably you would have a better perspective about my work, However I don’t need you to say good things about me or my shop but probably will change the way your comments is about my business it’s not fair your said you pay $ 25 dollars to upgrade it when its not true! Original price for the small is $ 39.95 deluxe $ 59.95 is only $ 20.00 dollars difference I charge you $ 52.95 plus tx and delivery was $ 68.61 I never charge you $ 25.00 to upgrade. I do not like your comment at all, your MOM waS VERY SATISFIED with the plant she got and I don’t understand why you make this comment if its all about the MONEY you pay that’s totally different. I ask you with the most respect to modify your comment at your earliest convenience. I don’t need a 5 star but I believe I don’t deserve the comment either. Thank you best David

Hi David, this is my response to your message. First of all, it is not about the money. If it was about the money I would never have purchased the plant. Not once did I ask you for a discount or a refund. I simply asked you to fix your mistake. Which you did and I greatly appreciate that, now I actually get what I purchased. You have to understand, from my perspective, we both should not have gone through all of this in the first place. If you had send out what you advertised online, we would not have had any problems. You would not have had to go back to pick up the plant to fix it.
Secondly, I would have changed my review on my own, but the fact that you are calling me and messaging me to tell me that I am wrong, and pressuring me to change my review. I think I have changed my mind. How is it unfair that I let other people know about your business? Maybe from now on, you will send what you advertise and what people actually paid for.
You were right, there was nothing wrong with the plant. The plant itself is fine. My issue was that it was not put together like it was advertised. Maybe I was wrong about the price, but like I said the price was never an issue. If I could not afford the plant, I would not have bought it in the first place. I am also repeating myself so that you understand clearly. I did not ask for a discount or a refund, and I do not want a discount or a refund.
By the way, maybe you should look at your website because there is a $ 35 money tree not just the $ 39.95. Plus the deluxe is showing at $ 55. Which means I upgraded and paid $ 20 extra. My mistake if I was off by $ 5. Big deal. I’ll post it just so you know what I am talking about.
Lastly, you were supposed to take a picture of the new arrangement yourself, and then send it to me to show me that you actually fixed it. I have not seen the new arrangement because you delivered it to my mom. What do you think? I should drive there just to take a picture to put on your Unilocal review to show that you fixed it. If it was important to you, you should have done that yourself. To prove that you actually took the time to make things right.
It’s sad because because I was thinking about changing my review, but you are just to pushy. Maybe you need to take some customer service courses. Please do not contact me anymore.

Now that the business has called me out as unresponsive:
2÷12÷2014 6:09PM Abbey’s called me (818.274.9867) and left a voicemail to ask for my card security code after receiving my online order placed earlier in the day.
2÷12÷2014 6:30PM I returned call at which point the person who answered the call stated they did not have the arrangement I ordered online. I compromised with an alternative arrangement. At no point did the person ask for the security code which I thought odd but I reminded him of the message left to me and provided the security code.
2÷13÷2014 12:35PM I called and asked about delivery as my gf had not received the flowers. The gentleman I spoke with said that he did not have a status for my order but that all deliveries would be out by 3pm.
2÷13÷2014 4:14PM I called again because my gf still had not received flowers. At which point after a back and forth, I was notified that the flowers were not delivered. The gentleman offered to deliver within an hour but I cancelled the order because the delivery location may not have been open and I had enough of being lead on as if my business was being handled.
All the times are listed from my cellular call log and voicemails. I understand it is a one of the busiest times of the year. But at this time of the year, the business failed to deliver a very heartfelt gift, I don’t look at is as a revenue season for the business, I look at it as an opportunity to express my feelings for someone I love. You, the business, forgot what Valentines Day is about. IT IS ONE THING TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE OVERSIGHT BUT IT IS ANOTHER TO REPLY AND CALL OUT A CUSTOMER AS A LIAR. I WILL NOT TOLERATE DISHONESTY FROM A BUSINESS!
And may I remind you, your own website front and center states «Same day local delivery to Woodland Hills,…» I ordered the day before (2÷12÷2014). And NEVER did you apologize which prompted my seething review in the first place.

I needed to send thank you flowers to a friend in the valley. I picked Abbey’s Flower Garden off of Unilocal and ordered from their website. They called to confirm and also called to request permission for a color substitution, so I appreciated how communicative and friendly they were.
The flowers were a big hit. I ordered the deluxe version, and apparently it was a HUGE arrangement.
I was a little wary of doing this over internet/​phone, but they did a great job!

I place a lot of orders for work and they make it so easy on me. They keep my payment on file so I just call, give my name and know everything is taken care of. My first order was last-​minute, they had it prepared and delivered within 2 hours!
I give vague directions like «include a flower the person has never seen before» and a beautiful arrangement arrives (the guy is STILL talking about that arrangement, by the way). Pablo knows his flowers and knows what makes an arrangement special.
Great prices, fabulous customer service and beautiful arrangements — that’s the trifecta. Thank you Pablo, and I look forward to continuing to work with you.

Biggest thing for me is it’s open till 7PM on weekdays! I chose this place when looking around for flower shops because I work till 6 and most shops are closed by 5 or 6 meaning I wouldn’t be able to pick up my orders. I’m so happy this is also a great store!
The florists here are wonderful! I don’t know the symbolism, appropriateness, etiquette, and styles of flowers. I was worried I would look like a fool in asking them questions. Not at all! The people here are super friendly and were patient with trying to figure out a great arrangement and price for different graduation bouquets I wanted to give.
I really lean on one of the female florist’s (forgot her name, but she is young and has short brown hair) skills and suggestions and am always happy with the results. She and the owner are always quick with my last minute requests.
The prices are great (plus the more often you buy from them, the friendlier the prices become), the selection is great, and the florists are great!

Here I am day of my daughters High School graduation & I so forgot to order flowers. Bad mommy, bad, just bad! No I don’t need a spanking people… although…LOL
So I arrive to work thinking what flower shop would have some beautiful Calla Lily. Believe it or not I called several of them only to be told that they don’t carry them. Just when I was jumping on line to see if I could order some & have them delivered to my baby my friend tells me about this flower shop.
So I obtain the phone number, call, rings, I say hello may I please speak to Pablo. Man on phone says, this is he speaking. Here comes my desperate plead, Pablo please tell me you have some Calla Lily, he says of course I do, but right now I only have a brown burgundy color however this afternoon I will have some white ones. Super I say, I will take some of those with some Pink Roses.
Time to pick up the flowers, I arrive a little after 6:30, Pablo was just wrapping them up. Such a beautiful sight to see, they were just gorgeous (see pic). Everyone at my daughters graduation was raving about how gorgeous her flowers were.
Let me just add to everyone that the little conversations that I had with Pablo I could tell that he is a man with a good heart, not like a lot of other flower shops that are all about the money. I cannot believe what a great deal he gave me on the flowers & how attentive he was to my time of distress.
Pablo if you are reading this thank you so much for helping me make her day a special one. The flowers were gorgeous, my daughter loved them, & so did many of the parents that were there. I cant believe how inexpensive you are but thank you for being considerate of our wallets. We will see you soon!!!
