Had a much better experience going back. Must have been a stressful time the last time I went. The cut was professional and most of the stylists were friendly.

BRIANNA is fantastic. I have gotten multiple blow outs from her and recently she did a dye-​back for me. Her work is perfect, and she can do a very fast blow dry too. The salon is great about communication. They usually contact you the day before your appointment to remind you. I only wish they were open 7 days a week.

Carlie is the best! I’ve been getting my hair done by her for over 2 years and she is so good at cutting, styling and coloring. She is also a super cool woman. I also take my 7 year old to her and she is great with him. I highly recommend her.

I have been a client of Chiara who owns ICON for 20 years!!!
No one has given me a haircut other than her except the time she was battling cancer. I trusted Brianna who cut my hair once. She too works at ICON and did an amazing job. Eiko’s facials will definitely make your skin look better but it’s guaranteed to make you look younger too.
Chiara is not only amazing at what she does but she’s a huge supporter for the breast cancer cure. Her entire ICON family (clients and staff) love her and everything the Salon stands for. Beauty inside and out! I wholeheartedly recommend this Salon and team!

I have been getting my hair done here for about 10 years now. All the stylists are amazing! The owner Chiara is a hair master. Her understanding of curly hair is phenomenal. She can teach you to make your curls look great everyday. I highly recommend ICON hair products, also formulated by the genius of Chiara and her team. The stained glass used along with your coloring in the salon will make your hair shiny, vibrant and healthy.

Great salon. Expertly organized and set up for everything. Tomi is fabulous and knows her stuff. All that and a great hair cut too!

Being very picky with my hair, Hayk knew exactly what to do and cut it to perfection! Definitely recommend ICON and Hayk! Can’t wait for my next cut!

I had scheduled an appointment at Icon to get highlights because I wanted to be pampered on my birthday. When a long-​time customer came in the entire staff sang «Happy Birthday» to her, which was really sweet. I told Hayk, «Oh, she and I had the same idea!» and explained that it was my birthday too. (I wasn’t expecting anything because he’d never met me before.) I was pleasantly surprised when Hayk offered to do a complimentary moisturizing treatment on my hair!
Hayk did an amazing job and made me feel pampered during the whole three-​hour process! It was my first appointment with him, and at the salon in general, and it was a great introduction. My color turned out absolutely beautiful — me but even better! The hair treatment he did made my hair luxuriously soft, too. And he finished off the whole appointment with a fantastic blowout. This was the first stop on my day of birthday pampering and I was blown away… I’ve found my permanent salon!

Going on 7 years with I.C.O.N… obviously this review is far overdue… after having moved from Palm Springs to LA I tried and tried again to find a colorist that could achieve my desired color results (full weave, multiple colors) without breaking my fine hair. MELINDA can’t get rid of me… this woman has taken my hair from blonde to brunette and back again. Not to mention she and CHIARA were able to color correct a chlorine incident from my bleached ends that were bright green upon arrival and cool silvery-​blonde by the end of my emergency appointment. HAYK is always fabulous and I will choose his scalp massage and blow out over therapy any day. BRIANNA has also cut, styled and set my extensions on occasion, she is always extremely pleasant and efficient. I refuse to cheat on Melinda, but when I had to (during her maternity leave) Chiara gave me a beautiful cut, blending my extensions perfectly with my thin/​fine hair… but then again, shes always amazing.
I love the entire staff. You can’t put a price on peace of mind knowing for certain you will leave with your hair looking glamorous and feeling healthy.

Hayk did my keratin treatment and a cut and did a fantastic job! Spent a lot time and care and the result was fabulous. Thank you!

I’ve been seeing Crystil here for years now! She is a biochemical engineer when it comes to color and an absolute magician with her scissors! I always leave her chair feeling restored! I always receive many compliments on my hair-​which is a nice reassurance on something I already know: my hair looks great! $$ well-​spent.
The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and upscale with a modern zen vibe to it. I love their cause, their best well-​known product is called ‘cure’ and I believe the proceeds go to breast cancer research. None of their products are animal tested and they are Eco-​friendly which makes me feel even more beautiful getting serviced here. I really don’t like feeling guilty or gluttonous when my vanity depends on slaughtering animals and destroying the environment. There are no other salons like ICON.
Everyone who works here is nothing short of talented and sweet. The patrons they have, have been coming here for years and that really says something to me about them: they know how to keep people satisfied which why I too, am one of those patrons that have been coming here for years.

I’ve been going to Melinda for 8 years and refuse to ever see anyone else — in fact, when I was living in San Francisco, I’d fly in to LA to get my hair done by her and only her. Whether I’m coming in for a standard trim or a color rinse and a fresh look, Melinda can always understand what I’m trying to go for and leaves me feeling beautiful with every visit. She’s patient, incredibly warm, and one of the sweetest women I know. I will be sticking with her for life and absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a new stylist!

All I can say, is THANK YOU, thank you, thank you!!! I have been going to see Tomi at I.C.O.N. for the last few months, and she has changed my hair in the best way possible!
I have naturally dry, curly, unmanageable hair and have tried so many salons, including Ouidad (curly hair salon), and I have had such success with not only Tomi knowing EXACTLY what I want, every time, but I.C.O.N. products I seriously cannot live without now!
I had colored my hair black for years and Tomi was able to not only save my hair, but make it extremely healthy and a gorgeous color in the process! Ever since I’ve started going to Tomi at I.C.O.N., I get constant compliments on how great my hair looks. I recently got my second Brazillian Blowout, and it’s just as fabulous.
If you haven’t tried the conditioning treatment, it’s so affordable and worth it as well!
Tomi was out of town when I got married and Brianna from I.C.O.N. was able to come to me and style my hair for my big day, and she was not only fast, it looked truly perfect. :)

This review is WAY overdue. I don’t even live in Los Angeles anymore, but for the few years I did, ICON was one of my favorite places!
I had my hair done by Melinda, who I love. She is great and does great hair. I loved the color she gave me. She is so nice, upbeat and always remembered things about your life! She did my hair and my daughters hair. First off let me just say that I’m super picky and can be a pain in the ass, but even when I decided that I didn’t like my cut exactly, Melinda fixed it, no problem. She even put up with my indecisive teenage daughter (did she or didn’t she want bangs?)
And I love her assistant Hyke, he is super nice and gives a great scalp massage during your wash.
Everybody at the salon is really nice. I am truly going to miss this place. I even considered flying back just to get my hair done!

The absolute worst salon I have ever been too. I went in there a couple of months ago, for a new hair color and came out looking like a hot mess! Box colors do a better job, thats all i’m saying! My beautiful long thick hair is now shit, hair falls out every day, and it as thin as paper. I don’t remember the stylist names, Melinda, I think, all I know is she had a assistant (trainee) call it what you wanna call it, helping her. He was nice, so was she, but would I ever go back?! helllll nooooooooo, and I do remember she asked her assistant to use the «new color» on me and see how it works, excuse me… last I checked I wasn’t a fucking guinea pig. THANKS FOR NOTHING. PS paid 190 dollars for this. wow

Love this place. Have been coming here for the past 6 years from a recommendation of my cousin. Kiara is absolutely amazing at cutting hair. She actually listens to you when you say only cut 2 inches. She’s not scissor happy. Hayek and Brianna are amazing with blow drying. I have very long, and thick hair. I hate going to salons who indirectly are complaining how much hair I have. They embrace it here. Love the refreshments, good conversations, and love the fact that they refill your meter for you. Products are amazing. Must try !!!

Amazing team! Every single stylist is amazing. Very friendly staff! If you’re a perfectionist I highly recommend Chiara for highlights, Melinda is also great. Do not leave without a hair wash by Hyke, he is the BEST. I also recommend Krystal for color corrections. I’ve been coming to this salon on and off for about 4 years. Extremely reasonable prices for everything. They do a better job than high end boutiques in BH, don’t waste your time or money anywhere else!
They have really great products as well!

This place is fabulous, so far my favorites are Brianna & Haek they Both do a really good blow dry. And might I just say I have extremely curly hair so this rarely ever happens to me. The delicious cucumber water and coffee are complimentary and they have a pretty good music sound track to listen to while your getting pampered! The only thing I would change is there parking arrangement … However I do appreciate how they offer to refill the meter.
