lazy job, my house is still dirty 3 hours and $ 270 dollars later

I scheduled Molly Maid to do a move-​out cleaning when I moved from my rental house. I’m not gonna lie — it was dirty. (Not gross, but dirty.) I have two large dogs and they left drool trails down the windows and walls, which I could never get clean. And my oven and fridge? (Ew.) Molly Maid got it all clean, on time, and it cost less than I expected. This was (by far) the most painless part of my move. Thank you!

Starting a month ago, the girl left early and lied about the time they actually arrived, starting from the actual time they started to the end, the hours the main office promised me did not match, the girls left 30 mins before. Then, …once again, this was one month ago, ok… so I went upstairs, I found out my toothpaste was not on the bathroom counter top. I thought they took it, and I opened the drawers and I saw the toothpaste was inside the drawer. Ok, my watch went missing,…until yesterday when two same girls came to my house to clean again, I reported and mentioned this concern to the office manager.
Ok, three girls showed up yesterday, additional one girl, fine. Then one of the girl has the gut to tell me that I need to pay more since I have three people now and they were here today for 1 hour and 15 – 20 minutes only. I called the main office, clarified that. Then the girl explained to me that maybe I dislocated my watch. I told them I cannot blame them at this time, maybe I did, but I have to make a note to the main office.
At that time, it was 9:35am, two girls headed upstairs to start the work at 9:40am. Guess what time they left, they left before 10:30am…is it only me or they left early as they promised?
Ok, just like the first time, they left early, but if they did good jobs, I would let it slide but I had made my decision to hire another cleaning company at that exact moment. So I headed towards my kitchen, the marble floor has the streaks, they did not do good job, they left with these messes. I headed upstairs, bathroom marble floor was the same thing. I was pissed, so I called the main office. Three girls came back and redid the work, they tried but they argued by saying that, «What do you mean by not paying us, I did my job.» First of all, whether a customer is satisfied and willing to pay you guys have nothing to do with you. You this little witch should just shut your mouth and let the customer talk to your boss. Ok, then two Hispanic girls started laughing and talking bad things in Spanish in front of me.
Called the main office, spoke to John, they agreed this kind if behaviors were not acceptable. Individualized franchise called back, in contrast, defended these girls by not acknowledging the seriousness of this event.
If you leave early but you do the job, make customers satisfied, I would let it go just like a month ago. If you just an employee, do not come to the customer house to talk about the price. Do not bring additional person and argue over a paying customer. If you decided to come back to redo the work because of the garrenttee customer services, suck it in and finish the job. once you leave my house, you would never see me again. In fact, I would not contact your company anymore because I already hired another. Do not come back to the customer house and thought the customer does not speak Spanish so you could talk and laugh about the customer in Spanish. I worked in county hospital, I know Spanish. I know body language, too.
No comments, …, very mad today… Worst customer services! I have made a huge mistake allowing them coming to my house. For the first time, I asked them to get out of my house… Before I posted these reviews, I spoke to the main office two times and I spoke to the individualized franchise two times. I do not recommend them.

I’ve written a LOT of Unilocal.For the most part they are decidedly negative or positive; I usually leave the mediocre alone. And in cases where I’m going negative, I try to make the entry instructional so the problem can actually be addressed. That’s what’s happening here.
In the few months that we used Molly Maids we have had the stainless steel plate, where the knobs of our range are located, scratched to the point of requiring replacement, our freshly-​painted floor moldings scuffed repeatedly with the rubber from their vacuum cleaner and the porcelain in our bathroom sink scratched by abrasives. They also lost our front door key. We have called the office with each complaint only to have a new one or a recurrence the next week. Further, our floors continued to be left sticky from some objectionable cleaner every time despite our sharing our displeasure. To make it worse, we provided the cleaning supplies and vacuum we preferred only to find them unused.
As long time small business owners with employees of our own, we find that we tend to side with owners and try and make their management job easier with civil discussions instead of angry complaints. But the last straw for this outfit came yesterday when we attempted to mitigate the potential damage we might incur from the cleaning scheduled for today. The owner, or manager, or disinterested passer-​by we happened to get on the phone could not possibly have cared less about our comments, our home or retaining our business! During Tony, the owner’s, sales pitch we were assured that all the cleaners received proper training in the Molly Maids way of doing things, but yesterday we were informed that all the cleaners were individuals with their own methods. What?! We were offered no re-​do of any work to meet our standards (or Molly Maids, or anyone’s), nor were we offered a new crew, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway since we learned that we would have been subject to the new crew leader’s standards, not ours or Molly Maids, if such a thing exists.
So, this review exists to warn new customers away and to let Tony and/​or whoever intercepted our call, know that some people actually have standards of cleanliness and the way in which it should be achieved. We will clean our own house for a while instead, but if Molly Maids would like to let their crew watch, it would teach them a great deal!

Molly Maid of the West Valley provides high quality services at reasonable prices. Staff are always punctual, professional, and respectful.

Good service or bad, I never write reviews but I am so impressed by Molly Maid that I’ve got to comment. I live in a location with a steep dirt road that has scared off most cleaning services. The Molly Maids staff weren’t afraid to make the trek up the road, and that alone is noteworthy! The two employees were incredibly professional and proficient. They were very pleasant and accommodating, and they did a fantastic job. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with their service. And they will listen to your requests, such as keeping the doors to the outside closed if you have pets. If you live in a wildland interface area then you’ll know what I mean. The staff was were very mindful about this. While that may sound like a small thing to city dwellers, it’s important to the folks that live with coyotes. Dedicated, conscientious, and thorough. We’ve been using Molly Maid for awhile now, and I feel comfortable writing a great review. They come every other week, which keeps our home nicely dusted and clean. With most people, both spouses work, and it is a challenge to keep a home clean, so this is a big deal for us to always have the house clean! Who wants to give up a weekend cleaning when we all work so hard?! I recommend Molly Maid to all our friends. Check them out — you’ll be glad you did!

I just started with Molly Maid and I’m very happy that I did! They give me the extra time I need to take care of my newborn instead of worrying about cleaning the house. Their service is excellent… every time I call the office the staff is attentive, helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend Molly Maid to anyone who needs a good house cleaning!

Initially I’d say the cleaning service was decent. Not spectacular for the amount paid. However, the astounding disappointment came when I realized the damages they left behind. A broken picture frame, a rag left inside of my garbage disposal and a huge chip in the wooden leg of my end table. The owner stood by her staff and pretty much indicated that I lied because it’s not possible that her staff could cause the damages. Considering amount spent and the damages caused I could not recommend Molly Maids. There are a long list of other services to select from. Molly Maid should not be on it.

So, we have used Molly maids a few times in the last few months. There cleaning crew barely speak English, it’s hard to tell them what specific places you want cleaned without them looking at you like you’re from outer space!!! The people in the office are not the best either, I had asked them several times not to charge my credit card and they did for cleaning. They were always looking to reschedule after we had scheduled a clean like week ahead! Always late and there silly 2 – 3 hour windows for arrival time for the cleaning crew, which they didn’t inform us about! I plan on never using them again!

I was charged for making an appointment and cancelling it upon further consideration. Their staff showed up anyway and (8:00am eeek!) and I was completely not caffinated and not expecting them. I told them I would call the offfice to reschedule. An hour later, I called the office and asked them why their staff showed up. They insisted I didn’t cancel. I insisted that I did. They said they send me a recording and then sent it to me. I didn’t EVER hear a recording. I feel that they stole my money. Their charges are outrageous. I did my best to come to an amicable resolution and was unable to. I don’t believe them. Be cautious, once they get your credit card they WILL be charging it. I hope the $ 40 they stole from me was worth this review. Updated 9−9−14. I just read their response and STILL have not heard a recording. This is a shady business and I recommend you call someone else.

I really didn’t want to leave a bad review. But after no one called my husband back after leaving numerous messages I feel like I have to. We paid 200 $ for 2 ladies to come out and clean for 2 hours. Clean a 2 bed 2 bath 1200 sq. ft. home that was empty. At first I wanted to clean our new house myself before we moved in but my husband wanted to make it easier for me and hired a maid service. Well here’s the short version. The bathroom glass doors still had hard water stains that we here told wouldn’t come off unless we used a razor to scrap off! What? Really? Cuz I just went to Home Depot and saw some solution that takes the spots right off. Also the air conditioning vent never got cleaned and neither did the stove. These are the things you pay other people for. I could windex the windows just fine. It’s the tougher stuff you need help with and they seemed to not want to do that. Saddest part is my dark wood floor now has streaks that don’t come off. I included a picture. When I asked one of the ladies to clean the kitchen. She straight up refused and said we weren’t supposed to be in the kitchen when they arrived. Really? I’m getting attitude too? I ended up cleaning after them after they left. I wish we got a call back or a partial refund. Then I would think maybe we just got the wrong people and try them out again. But I guess not.

My daughters told me I should make it easy on myself and hire a cleaning crew again. Years and years ago we had a service but they were no longer in the area so I started looking around. I saw a Molly Maids’ car while out on one of our walks and decided to give them a try since they were already in the neighborhood. What a great move that was! My team has been excellent and Sheri has cheerfully worked with me on our frequent rescheduling. I can highly recommend them! I found that their prices are competitive AND a portion of every dollar spent goes to help Haven Hills, an organization providing safety and support for victims of domestic violence. If you are looking for cleaning services, you can’t go wrong in trying out Molly Maids :)

We have been using Molly Maid of the West Valley for nearly 10 years. They have always done an excellent job for us. They are reliable, punctual and efficient. They leave our house sparkling clean and fresh. Even though they are a little more expensive than hiring some individual house cleaner, we prefer dealing with a company that has backup resources, performs quality control checks, pays social security and other benefits for their workers, and is readily available by telephone if problems ever arise. One time a crew member accidentally damaged the plastic film coating on one of our glass sliding doors. We notified Sherry and the damage was quickly repaired at the company’s cost, no questions asked. We definitely recommend Molly Maid.

I have Molly Maids come to my house every two weeks and they do the kitchen, bathrooms & floors. The price is reasonable and they have always been dependable & trustworthy. It may cost a little more than I would like to pay but they’re insured and I feel comfortable with them being at my house while I’m not there and I trust them to lock up. They also do a great job! I only left a star off because I’ve had a few issues with a team that was not my regular team but I always talk to to Sherri and she resolves any issue right away! I also have them keep a key to my rental and they have done move in and out cleanings as well. I’m almost always super happy with them!

My Molly Maid team has been coming to my 2-​story condo for several years and I feel so great every time they finish because my house is really clean and looks so good (we have wood floors downstairs). Something did get broken once, but they came right over and they paid for a replacement with no problem. I’ve found the owners to be very responsive. (I love our «team» leader, too – she’s so professional.) I would definitely recommend them.

Molly Maid is great! They have been cleaning my house for three years. Every two weeks I look forward to them coming and the feeling of appreciation I get after they’re finished. I love my home even more after they’re done.

We were referred to Molly Maid by a friend. We’re already really tidy people, but we work ridiculous hours and keeping up with cleaning had become nearly impossible. We’re also on a tight budget, so we thought finding an affordable cleaning service was going to be really hard. However, after talking to Molly Maid, we found them to be incredibly affordable for us, and since we hired them, they’ve done nothing but do an incredible job cleaning for us! They’ve even emptied our dishwasher for us — and they totally didnt need to do that! Their work has been exemplary — leaving the house clean and tidy when we come home. It’s always a relief to come back after a long day and see that they’ve been there!
Molly Maid is affordable, very good at what they do, polite, and extremely effective. Hire them if you need the break!

I’ve been using this service for the last few years and have been pleased with the work. They come every two weeks and it is great to come home to clean bathrooms and dusted furniture. I hate doing these things myself. I also have wood floors, which I hit with the Swiffer, but it is nice to have someone do the full cleaning on a regular basis.
With every company I’ve used, there are always things that I would have done to a higher standard. That said, I’m glad to have someone do the big stuff to a decent standard.

I have a 1300 sq ft house that I needed cleaned (minus a guest bedroom so more like 1200 sq ft). I have very little furniture and wood floors but I do have dogs so there’s lots of dog hair. Molly Maid gave me an estimate of $ 160 and came out the same day which was nice. However, I had to run out so my boyfriend was left to supervise. He said around the two hour mark they started standing around and talking. They stayed until exactly 2.5 hours (so they could charge me an additional $ 40). If they were gonna milk it they could have atleast cleaned the fridge or the oven. I mean I could have cleaned my own house for free in 2.5 hours! I let Sherry know I wasn’t happy and she denied it happened. I guess that makes my boyfriend a liar? I won’t be using them again. P. S.–I just found Maggie Maid on Unilocal and they clean for 2 hours for $ 120.
