Welcome! Since 1984, Dr. Morad Rad has successfully been working with patients to provide the best dental care in the Woodland Hills area. His vast experience in dentistry is coupled with genuine care and education for all of his patients.

Dr. Rad Dental offers a wide range of services, including Cosmetic and General Dentistry, along with Teeth Whitening and many other dental procedures. Our office’s main priority is your complete comfort and prompt attention to keep your teeth healthy and your smile bright!

History

Established in 1985.

We first opened our offices 25 years ago in a small, quaint office in Woodland Hills to better serve the community. Thanks to the generosity of patients referring friends and family and to better serve the community we moved in to our new location 9 years ago. While our location has changed our mission, of providing excellent dental care and our commitment to our patients, has remained the same.

We focus in the field of general dentistry with a specialty in cosmetic dentistry. We cover all facets of dentistry from general procedures like teeth cleaning to cosmetic dental procedures like veneers. We use such cutting edge technology as digital x-​rays to Zoom teeth whitening system to provide the best care for our patients.

Our overall philosophy of dentistry is to treat our patients like family. We have been seeing many of our patients since they were children and now see their children as well.

My personal philosophy of dentistry, and the reason I love being a dentist, is simply to help people. I enjoy seeing the happiness of my patients after I correct their smiles. I share in their relief after I alleviate their pain. This is why I became a dentist.

I received my DMD degree at an international university. Over the years I have taken numerous refresher courses at U.C.L.A and I am constantly taking courses and doing research to keep myself informed of new technologies and train myself on these new techniques and technologies.

I have been practicing dentistry for over 25 years in Woodland Hills, CA. I specialize in general dentistry with a focus on cosmetic dentistry. The reason I focus on cosmetic dentistry is because I enjoy seeing the transformation of my patient from someone who says I never smile to someone who cannot stop smiling.

This is a true nightmare of a dentist!!! We were referred to him by our family doctor since our beloved dentist of many years had recently retired… What an awful choice.
Please be very cautious !!! this dentist is a crook! He is dishonest and a big old liar!!! He does anything to make money off of you (your insurance) he did it to me and my son. First he told my son that he had couple of cavities when he had none he simply emptied both teeth and refilled them for no reason (we got second opinion from another dentist) when he couldn’t even fully numb his mouth after several painful injections. My situation was worse. This time he was planning to make the max from my insurance… He again tried many many times with several injections for hours and couldn’t even fully numb my mouth (I never had any similar problem ever before) in a meanwhile, he was repeatedly jumping from one patient to the other… I find this very rude… While waiting for my mouth to get numb, he left me laying on the chair for about 40 minutes and went to eat his lunch!!! On his way back he really lost his patience and drilled my perfectly healthy crown half open and to complete this disaster he tried very hard to break it off using something like a screwdriver while hitting my crown with hammer!!! Bang, bang, bang! I am not exaggerating ! I just knew that I had to stop him. I knew he was messing me up! So I just left half way done with a broken crown! I just had to go and I never looked back. I am still as I am writing this review am going back and forth to another dentist to repair his malpractice. That was honestly the worse experience ! I really went there because I trusted our family doctor. According to two other dentists who have checked my crown, it was really nothing wrong with it and was in a perfect condition when this crook first checked it. I will soon report him to the dental board as well.

The doctor is a true professional he really cares about your health he noticed I had to urgently clean my teeth quickly he found an empty slot for me and took me in super grateful and the staff was super helpful and prompt this place is a true gem !!

Dr rad is not only a great dentist, but also an awesome person! Really makes you feel comfortable and takes care of any issues or concerns you have without question. Friendly staff and they have TVs at all the chairs to keep you entertained while you wait. There really isn’t a reason to go anywhere else in the valley!

I have been coming here for as long as I remember as well as my whole family. Ever since I’ve been coming here I have always dealt with the friendly staff at the front desk and of course the very friends Dr. Rad himself. He has a way that he deals with you while he’s working in your teeth that makes you feel very comfortable and a pleasurable experience. He knows which techniques to use that cause the least amount of discomfort as well as the least amount of pain.
The best thing about his office is that if you’re too busy to come during the week, he’s open on the weekend also!
I can vouch for his work and definitely recommend him to everyone that I know!!!

Seriously Dr Rad and the staff are amazing! He is very thorough, and literally the only dentist I have ever been to that injects the numbing shots with ZERO pain! He massages the gum while he does it, I’ve been to others who try but always end up hurting. You’ll be in very good hands with Dr Rad.

Coming from someone who doesn’t write reviews on Unilocal to often it takes some extraordinary measure to make me get up and write any review. Let me start off by saying that Dr Rad is an excellent dentist. My family and I have been patients of his for years. For those who are afraid of the dentist like myself, he is very gental. The office is extremely clean and high tech, very friendly staff. Most AMAZING & Friendly Dentist.. . Dr. Rad has been my dentist for over 10 years now and every visit has been very professional and comfortable. Before I came to him I had SEVERE PHOBIA and anxiety related to any type of dental procedures and I dreaded even visiting for cleaning or regular check ups. From the first visit til my last (which was a few days ago) I have not been afraid of the dentist, I don’t even mind when he drills my teeth because I do not feel ANY type of pain (with or without dental blocks, but of course on my request I tend to prefer numbing during procedures). He makes all his patients feel relaxed, I have even fallen asleep during my checkups in the chair he is THAT easy and relaxing. Great Dentist, very nice professional staff… would definitely 100% recommend him.

I have had Dr. Rad as my dentist for over 8 years. When I first moved to this area, a co-​worker referred him. I am glad I went. I had an instant bond with him, he is friendly, very professional, and good at what he does.
Years back, I had leaking cavity filling which turned into an inlay, by the time I met Dr. Rad I needed a crown. I am super happy with this crown Dr. Rad put in, no issues with it whatsoever and it’s been more than 7 years.
I referred my wife who is very particular about who touches her teeth, she likes him. My kids also see him, and they actually love going to the dentist. He is great with kids.
His hygienist, Chelsey, is also very good. Very gentle but also very thorough. We all
like her.
My latest visit I had a chip and needed some aesthetic dentistry. His color matching skills are superb. I am amazed by his work each time. I had to wait a few minutes to see him, but it was worth the wait.
If you need a good dentist in the area, I highly recommend Dr. Rad. Best dentist in Woodland Hills !!

Dr. Rad is a fantastic dentist. I have been going to him exclusively for many years and he has always been professional and virtually pain free! Dr. Rad commented that I should get a mole on my face checked out. It turned out to be pre-​cancerious. I had it removed and am so happy that I listed to this advice, from my Dentist! I have been a patient of Dr. Rad for over 8 years. He is a great dentist. He takes his time with all his patients and is very nice. He is very professional, and very knowledgable. He knows exactly what needs to be done before you even tell him. What I like the most is the way he does the numbing injections. He does it so well that you don’t even feel a thing. The staff is also very nice.

Dr. Rad is very professional and very friendly. He listens to all of your needs and tells you what he thinks would be the best solution.
I went to Dr Rad for my wisdom teeth and he made me feel very welcomed and I felt at ease in his office.
The staff is extremely friendly and they are very experienced and what looks like really good training.

By far the best dentist you will ever go to! I have been his patient ever since I was about 12 years of age. Absolutely no discomfort and pain with any of the procedures he performs. He has one technique that he uses that you never even feel the shot. Dr. Rad is honest, caring, knowledgeable, and has great bed side manner. His staff is also wonderful and helpful as well.
Unlike other dentists that over charge you and try to perform procedures that you don’t even need sometimes, Dr. Rad will tell you exactly what needs to be done at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Dr. Rad!

Dr. Rad is the Best dentist EVER! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I’ve had so many dentists and orthodontists that only want to figure out new ways to make revenue on me… Dr. Rad is so much better at communicating, explaining things to me, and helping me out.
