The Home Depot

I came here for some parts for my old weed wacker that I found on Home Depot .com because the web page said it was in stock. And when I got here, I couldn’t find what I was looking for or anyone to help me find it. So after wondering the aisles and picking up a few of the things you grab on impulse, like Gorilla glue, and a car sun shade. I proceeded to pay and leave.
When I got home, I unwrapped the sun shade and tried to put it in my windshield and it was 50% too large. I looked on the back to make sure it was a fit for my car and my car was listed. I guess when you jam it in between the rear view mirror and oddly push up the visors and let it hang ugly down one side, it does block the sun. But that wasn’t working for me.
So I went back to return it.
The return line only had a few people before me when I arrived and moved quickly. when it was my turn, i handed the girl the receipt and she put the money right on my card.
That was a smooth easy experience. A shout out to Customer Service for a no hassle return.

I have been waiting for 30 mins somebody help me in pro desk to check out only one person was working there as a contractor I have to change my store because I can’t handle my job if it’s always like that ‚
Josef helped me he seems to be very responsible and nice guy but he is not fit for check out specially pro Desk, this store needs a few young and fast employee you should not keep contractors for only single simple receipt for an hour,

This is by far the worst Home Depot, no one is willing to help, their products are scattered everywhere can’t tell the prices either, then they have attitude at checkout when there are no tags on their items like it’s your fault, horrible experience!

Honestly I have a love-​hate relationship with Home Depot, I love coming here to buy stuff but then I kind of hate coming here because it’s not fun.
Sometimes when I come here acting like a dumb blonde employees are much more helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help a helpless blonde lol.
Somethings are priced good, but other things like cleaning supplies, etc are a little over priced.

By far the single worst Home Depot experience I have ever had:
I pulled my car up to the very front door of outside garden right next to the outside plants, open my trunk, and put my hazards on. I walk over 15 feet to the alyssum, pick out 4 plants I want. I grab 3 go to my car and put them in the trunk at a normal pace (meaning not in a hurry or rush). I then go grab the last one and head to the cashier to go pay. The cashier who is probably 20 feet away meets me about halfway and asked very rudely if I paid for the plants. I said very nicely «no miss I’m buying 4 of these. There are three in my trunk (which is still popped open) ring this one 4 times». She then says very very rudely «this is NOT! how this works». I said very bewildered, «ok…sorry I figured it would just be easier this way». She then walks to my car and picks each plant out of my trunk and walks each plant individually back to the register. She said «that is stealing». I said «miss I’m not stealing your plants. If I was to steal your plants I wouldnt walk to the cashier with the one plant I would run to my car put the last one in the trunk shut it and quickly drive off». She said «your lucky that Pepe our worker saw you and caught you and told us». «I said,“Excuse Me???» At this point (what I think is a department head) walks to the cashier and asks me very rudely why I’m attempting to steal plants. I ask him, «are you accusing me of stealing because that a pretty serious allegation». I then said, «I’m 35 not 16. If I’m going to steal and get arrested I’m not going to do that by going to a Home Depot and stealing $ 23 of plants im going to go steal a car». He then says to me, «sir consider this your first and last warning». I say, «first and last warning??? What am I a 2^nd grader and your a teacher scolding me???» I will NEVER go to this Home Depot again and I’m now formally emailing a complaint to corporate about this.

Jorge Ruiz in lumber helped me so much! Even brought wood to my car and helped me put it up. Great young man. I hope his manager sees this on Unilocal and recognizes him for great customer service

Went there yesterday for a key replacement. Three different people called a person to come to the lane. Waited for 15 min, still no one showed. Dropped the items that I was going to buy and left.

I don’t know why people have rated this location by 3 stars only because every time I come here people are extremely helpful and nice.
I had to find a some electrical part and even though I had hard time explaining what I needed, one of the employees found it faster than I could explain :)))

This location is clean, open, and nicely organized. Steven was a sales associate in the plants department and that was definitely the reason this place gets five stars– the best help I have gotten at a Home Depot thus far!

No paint color matching machine?!
The guy in paint said it broke and it never was replaced. That’s ridiculous!
I’m going to avoid this place from now on!

I don’t go to HD at all since I’m not a fixer upper kind of gal. I went to get packing boxes but the biggest they had was 21×21. You can get bigger sizes online for a crazy amount, so no thank you.

Don’t get your Xmas tree here. They have an awful system. Not worth the 30 minute wait after you have picked your tree and paid.

Customers service sucks I went to go get some keys made like 10 when I got home not even one of them work so had to Drive all the way back to the Home Depot talk to Richard who is the manager and he couldn’t even help me or give me some sort of a discount so yeah I’m never going back to this Home Depot they completely lost my business. Wow!

The worst Home Depot I have ever been to! It is like going to high school! Every body working there is either a teenager or in his twenties! The few experienced ones except for plumbing are so mean and hate their jobs! Takes so long to get help! Never anybody offers help there! Keep a very low inventory and when you ask for a product they simply say we don’t have it in this store!
Choose another Home Depot !

It is unbearably hot in October and I don’t have AC. Went looking for fans throughout the South Bay to no avail. Drove 25 miles to The Home Depot in Woodland Hills where some brilliant manager had the foresight to stock a bunch of (reasonably priced) fans, even as we hit the colder months. Thank you!
The staff was friendly and directed me right to them, got me a cart and helped me scan them at self-​checkout.
While This location is far from home and my return is not likely, this particular Home Depot deserves kudos!

This is a pretty standard Home Depot. Everything is organized well as expected.
The only thing is that the restroom here is dirty! What’s up with the loose toilet?
Funny thing happened, I was in a stall and someone asked me «do you work for the Home Depot?»
WTF? Who would ask for assistance from Home Depot personnel while they’re doing their business on the throne? I replied, «No, I don’t work for the Home Depot».
Let’s just say that I did work for the Home Depot and said, «Yes». Did they really expect me to say, «How may I help you?» while I pipe the frosting?
OMG… there are some crazy people out there :-) ha ha ha…
Products = standard (as expected)
Service = average
Shopping area = clean (as expected)
Restroom = dirty!

My favorite Home Depot!
The staff always goes above and beyond. The store is organized, especially the garden center. This store is a hidden gem! It’s not as big as the one on roscoe but it’s worth visiting.

Great place to find all your home diy needs. I was inspired by a diy project and so I made a trip down here to by the materials I needed. Found almost everything under one roof and I was happy to have made the trip!
I also stopped by their gardening section and they surprisingly have a good selection of plants and herbs. I’m going to be stopping by next time to pick up some herbs.
Also, the paint guys are great! They are so patient and nice and will help you match and fine tune any color your looking for! I found a paint card I liked the color of but wanted it a little lighter. They custom blended the paint for me to make it perfect!

I like going to this location of Home Depot. First of all, it’s never been crowded. Second of all, the associates are friendly and caring. I am a kind of customer that definitely needs to get some help to find the items; and whenever I am at this location everyone is nice to me and helps me out.
This is by far my favorite Home Depot location!

We review based on experience, and in my brief visit to this Home Depot location, I found it to be very well-​maintained, clean, and with a helpful staff.
I dropped by about a half hour before closing time to recycle a dead compact fluorescent bulb (they have mercury in them — don’t throw in your garbage!), and pick up a replacement bulb.
I found parking within about 30 – 40 feet of the main entrance.
The recycle bin was right up front (which was pointed out to me by helpful attendant number one), and the light bulbs were on aisle six (also pointed out by the same helpful attendant).
I went to aisle six only to find another helpful attendant who pointed me toward the three tiers of CFLs. I purchased a 4-​pack, used the self check-​out, and was on my way. The whole experience probably took six minutes.
This location for the win.
