Woodland Hills Urgent Care Center

This was a complete waste of my time. I waited nearly three hours … THREE HOURS. to see a doctor, getting shuffled from room to room several times before I was finally able to see him. I came because my eyes have been swollen for three days and my regular doctor wasn’t available — only to have this guy at Urgent Care tell me he didn’t know what was wrong and that perhaps I’m allergic to my contact solution — which I’ve been using since I was 12. That was it! My entire visit with the doctor lasted no longer than five minutes. I should have just stayed home with my cold compresses.

The worst place ever. Everyone are rude and they never have an answer for you. They always say this is what it is and i can not do anything for you. The waiting is crazy even when there is no one in line. Everybody are crazy here there is no time limit. You go there you are out in 2 hours no matter what even if they are slow

I wish I read the reviews before coming here. I am still having to deal with an incorrect bill that was sent to me 6 months ago.
In November I came here for an allergic reaction; I had rash breakout and I wanted to see if there was anything they could do.
They gave me a cortisone shot which I thought was fine because I am an army military dependent, I have insurance that can cover it.
My insurance 100% completely covered the cost of my urgent care visit and shot.
But guess what? Woodland Hills Urgent care clinic has been trying to scam me into sending them money. They must have absolutely no respect for the military or military dependents…
After trying to talk to them and explain that I do not owe any money because my insurance fully covered my visit AND I HAVE AN EOB (EXPLANATION OF BENNEFITS) TO PROVE IT, they have now sent the bill over to a collections agency.
I will not give in to this scam.
I will fight this.
Never go to this place.
THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, THEY JUST WANT MONEY.

Wrong office sorry

Horrible horrible horrible. F this place. I called ahead. They said no one was in waiting room should be a 5 min wait. Got there. 2 people in waiting room now, said it would 15 – 20 min wait. 1 hour later they call my 30 week pregnant self back. The «Dr.» proceeds to google remedies for my sore throat (I can do that too) and gets up 3 different times to ask someone else a question. I overhear another dr. telling her to tell me to have smaller meals and not to eat late at night. She comes back to insist I have heart burn. Heart burn?!? I’ve already had one dr tell me I have the flu and this b! tch tells me I have heart burn? Forget it. This place is full of quacks. Not to mention it shares a space with a weed recommendation place. Don’t waste your money. Find another urgent care.

My family has gone to this urgent care a grand total of two times — out if sheer desperation when our regular doctor has been out of town. We will NEVER go back! We were treated rudely both times.
The front office staff have the absolute worst attitude, the nursing staff are equally unpleasant and one of two doctors we encountered was an arrogant egomaniac.
If you enjoy being treated in a complete condescending manner, you’ll love this place. If you have any self respect, I urge you to search for one of the other, highly rated urgent cares in the immediate vicinity.

These people are shady and their office should be investigated and shut down. I went in to get travel vaccinations and was told that my insurance did not cover anything. I understood and was in a bind because I was traveling out of the country a few weeks later. They explained to me that before I could see a Dr, I had to pay for the office visit (Ok fine). I asked them how much this was along with the price for both shots. They gave me a grand total which was really expensive, however I had money on my HSA account and decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I paid them IN FULL for their services and vaccinations. I received a $ 400 plus bill in the mail about a month later for some bogus claim and proceedure that never happened. Plus they submitted another office visit claim for over $ 350!!! Over $ 350 for an office visit??? These people are criminals and my insurance is not doing much about it either. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you want to be ripped off by «doctors» who barely speak english and are working both as medical marijuana dr’s and regular dr. s and will totally rip you off. How do we shut these people down?

This place takes advantage of sick people. I was extremely ill, in pain and my health insurance hadn’t issued my card yet. They charged me $ 1600 and promised I would be reimbursed. Little did I know between my vomiting and hysterical cries of pain, they made me sign a waiver saying that I would be responsible for everything. Should have only paid about $ 250. The are liars! Please beware and don’t waste a penny!
They don’t even deserve 1 star, but had to put something.

Please Do Not use this place. The front desk people who also take blood were very nice. But the doctor is very unprofessional. I felt his comments to me as a woman were just too casual and chauvinistic. The male tech was just as odd. I needed a help and I think they could tell I was desperate. I had paid by credit card twice, $ 145 to see doc and $ 300 for xray. The day before I had procedure which most other places charged $ 500, I was told by phone I needed to bring $ 1200 CASH and that they do not take credit cards. Even more odd. I called a few places to see if this was normal for what I needed to make I sure I wasn’t crazy and they agreed that the charges were not the norm. They also ordered blood tests I know I didn’t need like 3 full vials worth. They said they could charge that to my insurance. I’m going to be POd if they send me a bill. I am not going back! Oh, and when doc sensed my annoyance second day because I started to realize something shady was going on, he offered me Xanax which I declined and he asked me if I’ve ever tried it. So weird.
Update: I never went back but went to another instead. The new reputable doc called these people egregious and told me to report the urgent care doc to medical board. Additionally, a woman named Anna from Urgent Care called me 5 times the morning after I didn’t show up (even though I left them voicemail saying I feel taken advantage of and I’m not coming) and told me I was still on the hook for $ 1200 CASH. I never signed ANYTHING and have no paperwork, by the way. We yelled at each other by phone and SHE suggested I write the medical board over her own doctor. And she claimed they don’t have voicemail. Additionally, she wanted to know the name of my new doc so I gave it to her. Then she called me back and said, I don’t know what kind of doctor that is because he hung up on me. Turns out they did hang up on her because they did not want to violate HIPPA laws by even confirming I was a patient which they said she should have known better.
Again, please do not go here. They never cared about me, just my money!

I only went here for a TB (tuberculosis) test. They did not want me to make an appointment and recommended I come in the late afternoon.
I went in on a Friday afternoon around 4pm and waited no more than 10 minutes. I received a shot and was told to return on Monday. I went back Monday around noon and even though there were others waiting for appointments, I was seen very quickly.
The cost for the test was only $ 35 (compared to the $ 85 that Woodland Hills Clinic on Topanga wanted to charge).
On the phone, when I called to get information, the person seemed curt and annoyed by my questions — but in person everyone was very friendly.
I don’t know that I would go here for other medical needs, but for a TB test required for work/​volunteering — this is a great place.

MY MISTAKE!!! I too, like the others thought it was a «regular» urgent care. I went in with a terrible headache, stomach pain… I was vomiting and could barely stand. They informed me they couldn’t see me without the initial $ 145 payment, I gave them a credit card. They proceeded to tell me I needed tests, a flu test, then shots. All that said my bill was somewhere in the realm of $ 400. they were quick to tell me I would be reimbursed from Blue Cross (I have a PPO) …I was too sick to drive around and go somewhere else. Learned my lesson!

They don’t accept any insurance. They attempted to rip me off with fraudulent billing. They added many procedure costs that they never have performed on me. They tried to charge me over $ 2000 for a little cut on my finger.
Everyone in the office including Anna is criminals. Never go there.

All I can say is rip off. I walked in thinking it was a real Urgent care. i was told that an appointment was needed, they don’t bill insurance and an office visit if over $ 100. I tore up my paperwork and walked out and went to a REAL urgent care. no appointment and billed insurance and office visit far less than $ 100.
