I have been with Zein Insurance Services for 16 yrs with my company and he was the agent for another 10 yrs with my other company that I worked for. The reason why I continued with him after I left the other company was because he was honest and worked hard. I don’t remember how many years I have been working with ZIS for health insurance. I think at least a decade. In that time, we’ve had two kids and our insurance needs have changed greatly. Rea has really been instrumental in assisting me with making decisions about our health care and explaining what I need to know to make decisions about our coverage. I once called her from the emergency room at Children’s Hospital with questions regarding the coverage as my daughter was admitted there and it was outside of our network. We’ve switched doctors and health plans almost yearly and she has been nothing but helpful and patient. Recently I had a TON of questions about everything from acupuncture to finding dentist for my kids to CT scans and MRIs and EEGs and she helped me sort out a huge mess, seamlessly as always. So here’s a big THANK YOU Rea!!! I wish I had told you before how much we appreciate you.

Holy Moly. I cant believe this place still functions based on their customer service. I called and emailed a man that works at this company who, now that I look, has been mentioned on many of the «one stars.» My first conversation was fantastic. Then he never returned any of my calls or emails. I followed up over the course of three weeks and then said: F it. I can call someone else. SO I did. And I got insurance.

Zein Insurance (ZIS) NOT ONLY assists you in choosing the right health coverage but also assists you with claims and high costs medications. It’s been almost a year that I have been working with Corbin and I am very pleased. Corbin is very informative and knowledgeable for what he is doing. I call/​email him a few times a week with tons of questions and problems; and he is always available to answer to my questions and help me out to go through a process.
Dealing with insurance companies can be very frustrating and difficult, but dealing with professional insurance brokers makes life easy and simple because they take care of your insurance needs very quick.
I am so thankful for all the assistance that Corbin and Zein Insurance provided me.

I cannot say enough about how impressed I’ve been with Zein and its tremendous Account Exec, Corbin. I reached out to Corbin at a time when I had a particularly emergent need to get through the Covered California process. On a very tight timeline, Corbin expertly guided me through a process that I’d have been hard-​pressed to navigate on my own. Within one phone call, Corbin explored and discussed my best options considering my needs and economic means. His recommendations and insight were spot on and within no time, my application was timely filed and I was on my way to coverage.
Even if he’d stopped there, I’d have been impressed, but it wasn’t until the time I physically had an insurance card in my hand that Corbin felt his work complete. He checked in with me on a regular basis to make sure I had no hiccups with my new medical providers and even helped me with my post-​application verification process when Covered California required additional information beyond that which is usually required.
I am extraordinarily fortunate and thankful to have found Zein and especially Corbin. In short, 5-​star Service, 5-​star Product and 5-​star Experience.

My fiancé and I just had our first baby. In so doing, we needed to purchase health insurance and my fiancé was led to Corbin.
Initially, Corbin was quick to get us information on various plans and quotes. And that’s where the helpfulness ended. We were first signed up for a plan that was not the plan agreed upon based on information provided by Corbin, and as a result my newborn daughter could not see her doctor. When pointed out, we were assured that it would be fixed, yet were signed up for another plan we didn’t want. By then, we could not wait to take our daughter to the doctor and got stuck in said plan. Meanwhile, there was no contacting Corbin any longer. All communication ceased. If that wasn’t bad enough, now we are having to fight paying 450 additional dollars, because Corbin made still another mistake and made her effective date her birthdate in July and not September 1st, as was discussed when purchased in August. Again, he said it would be fixed and again, no further communication.
Dealing with Corbin has been nothing short of horrendous. I recommend that you go elsewhere for the services (or lack thereof) that he provides.

I can’t recommend these guys enough, specifically Corbin. He is very helpful patient and will work hard to get the right plan for you. We had him find us a plan for my daughter which worked out spectacularly when I was at my wits end to find a way to care for her. Now with my new job not having healthcare for the whole family, we are again going through Corbin to find a good plan. You could go through the Covered CA website but they are not too helpful, you have to know what you need. Corbin explained things so I could understand what my options were. Highly recommended!

Now I’m in the industry and I must say that Health Insurance in the Obamacare Era is a really confusing thing. Corbin has been super helpful in getting me my coverage after a series of mishaps ending with a lapse of my cover wage. Corbin was super patient and delivered above and beyond what was expected. Just renewed my Covered California Medical insurance policy with Corbin and once again, he saved the day. I’ve suffered a few unfortunate glitches and was unable to maneuver my way through. Corbin masterfully contacted the right people, spoke their language (Insurance-​speak) and got the job done, second year in a row. Corbin also set my husband up with Medicare, including secondary and prescription, making sure he got the best plan at the best price. Corbin has been helping us with medical insurance plans for many years, and we highly recommend him. If there is any downside, Corbin is extremely busy – since so many customers rely on him. In the end he pulls through, and that’s what counts.

I have been in my own businesses since 1983. I’ve been around the block a few times since then with insurance companies/​brokers. These guys have impressed me like no one ever has. Each agent is an expert in their field. Corbin has been relentless in helping me obtain the best health policy for myself and several of me employees; no small task since the Affordable Care Act came into being.
Scott has been awesome in getting us better and less expensive Workers Compensation for both of our restaurants as well as liability insurance at superior rates and coverage compared to what we had previously. There is always someone at the other end of the phone. My emails are always answered promptly. Need someone to speak to your employees in Spanish? Alex is your guy! Go to Robbie for Aflac. It’s all there at Zein. And now so are my business, personal, auto, umbrella policies, etc. Thanks guys!

Where do I begin. I can’t say enough good things about ZIS Insurance and their reps! They are so wonderful and caring. I’ve been with them for over 15 years and I continue to be blown away by their service, efficiency and commitment to their clients. My insurance was unexpectedly cancelled last week (Cigna’s error) and they not only reassured me it would be okay but, they immediately gave me several other insurance options, walked me through the application and in the end SAVED ME MONEY! I plan to stay with ZIS Insurance forever. :)

I began communicating with Corbin of Zis Insurance a few weeks ago. I needed health insurance and was in a tricky situation, but Corbin made me believe he was willing to help me. After finding some insurance plans, picking one, and applying, I was denied. We decided to try another route, and then I did not hear from Corbin for 10 days. I understand that things may take a while, but he could have at least responded to my emails checking the status of everything.
I still haven’t heard anything.
I have sent emails asking questions, asking what he needed from me.
I was flat out ignored.
If he did not want to help my case anymore, he could have told me, and I could have found another company to work with. Instead I wasted time, waiting for a response.
I do not recommend this company.
When I asked a question about PPOs and HMOs, he made me feel like I was bothering him and was very annoyed.
Also, the review on here by Corbin E. is the insurance agent I worked with. I’m not sure if I would believe a 5 star review by an agent of the company that ignored me.
