(56⁄100) I really like this store. I believe they’re owned by the same company as Amelia’s. The store is a pretty decent size and seems pretty clean when I’ve come in to shop. You’ll find everything from name brand beverages to laundry detergent and everything in between. Personally, there are some items that I just REFUSE to buy at a discount store such as mayo. As I said, that’s just a personal preference. I’ve read others complaining about the expiration dates. Well, I think that’s more of a personal issue. Of course you should check the dates before you leave the store. Plus, that could happen anywhere. I’m not going to stop grocery shopping at other places and only come here. However, if you take your time and look around, you can certainly come away with quite a few excellent finds and good deals!

After hearing about the Grocery Outlet from some friends recently, my husband and I decided to go check it out. We were pretty impressed with the deals we got on a bunch of stuff — I’d say it’s at least half the price of other stores. This is definitely a good place to stock up on canned and boxed goods. We didn’t buy anything other than canned and boxed stuff but may on our next trip. Definitely keep an eye out on the expiration dates because I did see some stuff that was expired by a month or two.

This will ease my Bottom Dollar withdrawal. This store seems to have everything that you need, great prices and an eclectic variety of goods. The store is clean and very spacious. My only knock is the workers are a little lackadaisical(young), but that does not detract from the overall experience. The parking lot is spacious, and you can easily get there with public transportation(102, 113, 114, 115).

For the thrifty shopper that loves good deals this place is great. DO look at the dates on items. DO take your time. I wouldn’t suggest this place replace the grocery store, but it is a great supplement. Lots of specialty items too!

Amelia’s is ghetto. But you can catch some damn good deals if you just make sure you aren’t getting anything too old, keep your eyes open and be aware of what you are buying!

If you see it and you want it buy it! This place is freaking amazing with the food and grocery prices. We find things at like 75% off what you find them for in the regular store. You will always find something new each time you go as their stock rotates. There are some staples but there are some more specialty items that we stock up on when we see them. You can get everything on your list from this place, if you are anywhere near, go! The staff is always nice and it will save you so much money!

This review is for the ROYERSFORD Amelia’s, across from the Sly Fox on South Lewis Road. I love this place, because you NEVER know what you are going to find. Last trip I found ICELANDIC water, and the trip before, LU chocolate cookies… all at unbelievably low prices. You do have to check the expiration dates on some items, but not on most. Also, CASH and debit cards only!!!
