Ordered delivery through seamless and it came within 20mins. Order was correct and food was delicious. Ordered the green enchiladas, two tacos(barbacoa and carnitas), carnitas quesadilla and a steak platter. They seem to excel with the tacos.

Mexican food so so. It’s not very authentic. Not very professional owner. Yelled at me over a phone order. He says he can’t take credit cards over the phone. Why? And why put it in your flyer. How can I pay cash. I don’t have an atm at home. He says that I can place the Oder after I pay and come over. So much for free delivery. So that’s two misleading advertisements, was really frustrated and I think I saw a rat the last time I was there. Watch out Deprartment of health and hygiene.

Fast service, excellent menu, and delicious food at reasonable prices. I’ve recently moved to the neighbourhood and have had a lot of disappointments trying to get solid Mexican food that was watered down, and El Mariachi hit the spot. I will definitely order again and recommend this restaurant to others.

Delicious. Stopped in after a Zumba class for the Enchilada combo platter. Fresh hot and spicy. The staff is fantastic, if you don’t speak Spanish, slow down and let them know what you want, they will make it. Price was right and atmosphere was fun. They would have gotten five stars but the place could have been a little cleaner, not icky though, just the tables get wiped to the floor. Will definitely go back.

We stumbled upon this place looking for lunch after checking in to a nearby apartment. It was an amazing first meal in NYC! Tacos and quesidillas are top notch quality. Service is great, but know that English is not the staff’s first language. The clientele seems mainly Spanish(watching soccer), which tells you it’s likely great, authentic food. We were very satisfied!

El Mariachi provides a pretty good carnitas cemita and an impressive cecina taco. The highlight of the trip, however, was the spicy chicken soup. I couldn’t identify what’s in it but I can strongly recommend it.

NOT A PLACETODINEIN! We went on a Sunday night; music was extremely loud and impossible to have a conversation over without yelling. Food was just average. Not bad, but nothing memorable. It also took too long to come out of the kitchen. Not worth coming back.

This is actually one of my favorite taco places to go in woodside. I live one block away from here and every time I get the craving, they never fail. I’ll keep this short and sweet. Try the tostadas. Any kinda; chicken, pork or beef. They’re freakin good!

This was a very good experience. The chicken pechuga was very tender and the frijoles were delicious, like my grandmother used to prepare. The staff are very friendly. I will come back anytime.

The food is so delicious. I had the chicken tacos and the enchiladas, and it was really good. And, the best part of it is that it is not expensive at all! I seriously recommend to anyone who loves and enjoys mexican food!

Decent tacos in Woodside. Although in a neighborhood saturated with taquerias this place if it is your closest option would be where I would go.

This review is specifically for their tacos; they come with guacamole in the middle, turnips and lime on the side, and taste better than anything I’ve had in a taco stand anywhere in the city. Plus they’re cheap, especially if you’re used to Manhattan prices! They also have some regular karoake performers who put Ricky Martin to shame.

Steak sammich wasn’t anything special. The beef taco was tasty. These queens Mexican restaurants use a weird taco shell that’s not hard shell and yet it’s not a soft tortilla shell either. They love adding the parsley though, which is good for me since for some reason I love parsley.

I’ve never been disappointed. From the chilaquiles to the nopale or chivo tacos and beyond, it is all delicious and reasonably priced!
