I had the check engine light on when I went for my NY State inspection & obviously failed. They fixed what they said I needed for the codes to clear (for a pretty penny but it included a tune up which I hadn’t had in forever) & told me to drive around to re-​test free. Light came back on & they fixed something else (a sensor) — I drove around & re-​tested a 3rd time, passed at no extra fee! I’ve been going here for 3 years but this last time I nearly wanted to donate my car. Jaime reassured me it was a good car worth sticking with. Big thanks to him & Miguel for helping me through this headache. Everyone who works there is always nice to me, but these two stand out. Customer service A+!

Came here for New York State Inspection. Asked how much it would cost and was told $ 37 pass or fail. Great, it should be simple then, so they lifted the car and said that the brake pads needed to be fixed in order to pass inspection (2 of them for $ 130, total $ 260). So altogether it might’ve cost me almost $ 300 to pass NY State Inspection! Needless to say after expressing frustration, the car eventually passed inspection for $ 40 but with some hassle. Wish we didn’t have to go through the hassle though. WIll try another place on Unilocal in the future.
