I wish I could give a zero star. Avoid this place at all costs. This is not a dental office. This is a con-artist’s office. I got my crowns replaced here. First of all, they told me that my insurance wouldn’t cover the procedure, but I knew for sure it would cover so I told them to get a preauthorization. Then they got the preauthorization and told me to come in. I went in and got the procedure done, and paid extra for ceramic crowns, but they cheated and gave me PBC (the cheaper ones). They told me my insurance will cover 400 per tooth only, but i got a statement from my insurance saying the dentist claimed 6000 for the procedure. WTF. They lied to me. This place is not an honest place. Avoid at all costs. I won’t ever go back.

This it’s the worst place to go to fix your teeth. They are there to only make as much money as possible and do not care about your your health. Right from the start they forced me to do X Ray which I didn’t wanted to do. After much argument I agreed, but the person who was doing x Ray absolutely had no idea what she was doing. She took several x rays at one angle and still couldn’t get the x Ray right. After much fighting (for 1 and half hour) with the machine she gave up and called another person who again took my x Ray. I don’t know how much radiation I was exposed to on that day. Then came the turn of dentist, she was a student from dental school and didn’t know where her tools are kept. She did the worst job I ever had. I had pain in my teeth for 12 days. When I complain they told me to take Tylenol. Didn’t even wanted to see and check what was wrong. Worst place ever to go and get your teeth cleaned.

This is not a dentist office this is the horror place with a doctor that is hiper when he see’s a pacient!! Ido not think having any services from this doctor Leo., I higly do not recomend this place !! If u go u will be very dissapointed!! I did not even let him to continue the service. I got my money back and I left !! The place looks nice but the equipment is really old and dirty !!

The worst dental experience ever, I went for a root canal, my face blew up from the assistant blowing air in my exposed tooth the dentist assured me it was only the anastasia, 3 hours later I went back he said I should go to the emergency room, they never followed up to ask if I’m alright, there pushy with unnecessary sevices, STAY AWAY! !!!

After I read an article about a woman with a similar experience, I took it as a sign to write this review. Avoid this place. I knew the moment I walked in, I should have known better. It is really, really rundown. As in garbage bags covering a portion of the walls in the «waiting room,» which is just a desk with some people with computers and phones. Even the pad to sign my name for the credit card was so old and damaged that it didn’t actually show my name. I saw an actual dentist for about 5 minutes; after that my teeth were cleaned and the hygienist then tried to sell me an extra service. After her someone else came in and informed me I’d agreed to teeth whitening and was ready to get started– I never did agree to that, and I ran out of there. They’ve since called me twice, even though I told them to take me off their call list.
I went to a real dentist after this and asked about the procedure in which the hygienist said I needed. He was shocked, and said not only did I not need it, but a hygienist should not recommend such a procedure. Again: avoid this place.

The dentists here have been consistently kind and helpful. Their appointment times are always flexible and they have managed to help me get rid of most of my teeth ailments. I will be visiting this dental office again.

Have not been to a dentist for a long time. Great staff, gentle dentists.

I’m very pleased with the progress of the Invisilign braces I’m getting at Smile Sensations. The dentist and technician work with me to make sure I get the results I want. This practice charges less than the Invisilign dentists in Manhattan I had contacted. Plus, their receptionist Chaddy is top notch at her job. Even though constantly busy juggling phone calls, scheduling appointments, handling paperwork and staff requests, she treats everyone with such warmth and respect, you can’t help but smile and feel welcome!

I grew up in a family of dentists, and have spent my life in and out of dental practices. Far from home, I went to Smile Sensations desperate to have multiple cavities filled and was appalled by the «hygienic practices» of this business.
I took multiple pictures of the grime I saw, dirty instruments, dirty x-​ray machines, and hearing the dentist consultations horrified me. I told the dentist I was working with that I couldn’t have any work done there because of the filth, and he asked me if I had «seen a little critter.»
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, if you go here and have ANY work done, it’s a basic guarantee that you’ll get an infection. ESPECIALLY if they’re drilling, filling cavities, pulling teeth — whatever. Be good to yourself and go somewhere else!
Since that horrible appointment last winter, I’ve received multiple phone calls from Smile Sensations telling me that I have an appointment scheduled and that I need to «call to confirm» when never having scheduled an appointment in the first place. Very shady.

I was visiting family in NY when my crown fell, and my whole cheek swole up because it got infected it was the most painful experience ever, my mom and I find the closest dentist that was immediately available so we found smile sensations of sunnyside, I am so glad I went there. I was so nervous because I have been loyal to my dentist in Phoenix, but I was so relieved after Dr. Park replaced my crown and prescribed antibiotics for the infection. The whole procedure was painless, DR was very gental, and the quality of equipment was great, I actually felt like a patient and not just another insurance card for them to bill. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, the staff is amazing and very courteous, when I called in for an appointment and explained the situation, they immediately scheduled me for the same day because we were planing a getaway to lake george that weekend. I love the staff, the doctors, their equipment is the latest technology out there, Ive never seen that type of equipment anywhere else. I would definitely go back.

HORRIBLE DENTIST OFFICE I’VE EVER BEEN TO, A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!
This dentist office was a nightmare! I cracked my tooth and decided to go to the nearest dentist in my area. Fortunately, they’re located under my apartment building. The front desk receptionists were extremely nice, overly nice. When I got into the x-​ray room, the dental hygienist was not professional, he kept gagging me with the x-​ray device. The plastic covering kept sliding off and sticking me down my throat. After seeing the x-​ray results, the dentist came in and said he would be right back, but never came back. Two more dentists or dental hygienists came in and out the room, when finally one sat down and said what I needed. She explained I needed a filling in between every one of my molars and wisdom teeth, totaling 16 cavities! Also, she said I had bad cavities on my wisdom teeth and to get all 4 pulled out! The last time I went to the dentist was two years ago and he said there was no need to pull out my wisdom teeth and I only had 2 cavities at the time after not going to see a dentist in 10 years. This was very odd to me and I was skeptical. They even completely forgot to give me my teeth cleaning! I went home that night and looked for another dentist, a more qualified one. I called to cancel with Sunnyside Smile Sensations when the receptionist repeatedly questioned why I was seeing another dentist and why not them. She then put me on hold and one of the dentists came on the phone. I explained nicely to him why I needed another dentist and told him what the new dentist told me. I was told from another, more qualified dentist that I only needed 2 fillings and all my wisdom teeth were fine and only the cracked one needed to be pulled. He then preceded to harass me with a ton of questions and claimed I needed to see another dentist because this new one I saw did not not what she was doing. He began to get hostile and demanded I didn’t know what I was talking about and kept me on the phone for a total of 10 minutes. I yelled at him to stop interrogating me and I didn’t appreciate how he was talking to me and to respect my decision as a person and patient. He still fought with me over the phone so I cursed at him and hung up. That is not the correct way to talk to or treat a patient, very unprofessional!

Nobody likes going to the dentist but I’ve found the staff here to be friendly and courteous. And they use water scaling, which is waaaay faster the old fashion scrape scrape scrape technique.
