Donny and his team did a fantastic job on our lawn. We had 7 pallets installed. The guys were professional, friendly, and took time to explain to me how to care for it. They even dug around under my porch to find my missing sprinklers. I’d definitely recommend Mixon Landscaping.

We developed a leak 2 years after the install and it was right at the entrance to the main of the house. Probably not the work his folks did, but he sent folks out to help on a Saturday any way.

We hired Donny to clear the brush, grade the property, and lay 4 pallets of sod. He was very professional, timely, and responsive. Throughout the project he continually checked with us to make sure we were happy with the progress. This is 6 months later, and the sod grew in perfectly. We are very pleased and would highly recommend him!

Mixon Landscaping has taken excellent care of my yard for 3 years. What started as a small installation project has turned into annual upgrades and year round maintenance. I’ve found the company and it’s people to be professional and reliable.

We did have Mixon Landscaping install sod plus do a few miscellaneous items in our yard. All was not done and we were lied to by the owner. Part of our sprinkler system was broken by the work and he promised to come fix it. The promises continued but he never showed up. We were to go out of town and he said he would fix it while we were gone so that our new, expensive lawn would not die. After I called him (while on vacation) he announced that he was out of town and that we needed to call someone else and pay them to fix it. He was going to let our lawn die and not tell us (luckily, I called him). We were left with no choice. BTW, the lawn was supposed to be installed in late April/​early May but wasn’t put in until mid June. It had to be watered! There were other problems that were just sloppy but the main thing was the dishonesty. It cost us a lot more money and frustration!

I had the same experience. These guys do not do a good job. They rarely show up when they are supposed to. They do not get the tops of the bushes because they say they are hard to reach (no kidding — that is why we outsource it to the professionals. We are going to cancel our service.

Very nice guy! We spoke to 3 different landscapers when we were planning to do something with our barren backyard and Mixon Landscaping was by far the best. Don Mixon was very knowledgeable and very patient when we kept changing our minds. His price was very fair. He showed up with his crew as scheduled, did exactly what we contracted him to do and left our yard and street clean when he was finished. That was great but what really impressed us was that 5 minutes after he finished we got a terrible storm that tore up the yard in a couple places. Don came back the next day and fixed it at no charge. I can’t think of a lot of companies these days that would do that. We will defiantly use Mixon Landscaping again.
