Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC is a full service company that provides material such as bank-​run fill, gravel, septic sand, topsoil, as well as various sizes of quarry stone. Our fleet consists of various sized trucks that can deliver a full tri-​axle load to a small one yard or one ton load. Excavation, loader, dozer and backhoe services are also available. We supply to both commercial and residential.

History

Established in 1978.

A local farmer on Oldman’s Creek Rd had a vision to help his fellow farmers. Fred Musumeci started selling sand to local farmers to use in their planting beds. That is the start of what we now call Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC. Woolwich Sand & Gravel has been family owned & operated for over 30 years. As the towns around Fred grew, so did Woolwich Sand & Gravel. Fred passed the family business to his daughter Marie & husband, Mark Minniti. They’ve now run Woolwich Sand & Gravel for over 21 years & hope to pass it onto their son & daughter, who also work for the family business.

They support the local community by annually sponsoring various local sport teams. They’ve also donated material to various non-​profit organizations such as the «Make-​a-​Wish Foundation,» and participated in many community events. At Woolwich Sand & Gravel, family is key to the success of the business.
