History

Established in 1922.

AllCom Credit Union, formerly known as Central Massachusetts Telephone Workers’ Credit Union, has been providing sound financial services to our members since 1922. Although originally chartered to provide financial services exclusively to employees of the Telephone Company, the Credit Union now provides a competitive array of savings and loan products as a community-​based Credit Union from its branch located on Park Avenue in Worcester.

In an effort to better reflect our growing and diverse membership, the Board of Directors formally announced the new name of AllCom Credit Union in the fall of 2000.

In December of 2001, AllCom Credit Union successfully completed a merger acquisition of the former Commonwealth Gas Employees’ Credit Union and enthusiastically welcomed NStar employees and their families as members of AllCom Credit Union.

In July of 2006, AllCom Credit Union broadened its membership eligibility rules to include individuals who live, work or attend school in Worcester C
