The best calzone in town. I’ve been living out here in Worcester for about a year and actually live down the street from this gem. The cheese is ever so gooey and delicious in the awesomely made calzone. I split a large calzone with my husband. We devour it in a matter of minutes. Great mom and pop restaurant. They also have a cute little store next door.

Big fan. We live in the neighborhood and don’t go often, but when we do it’s because the craving set in. Their pizzas are awesome. Notably, the veggie isn’t overly cheesed or saused and has a lot of perfectly proportioned vegetables. The staff is also very friendly and I’ve never seen them on their phones. Not sure what Michelle O was seeing. Maybe she was having a bad day.

I have no idea why this place has any review over 3 stars. I live in this neighborhood and have had lackluster take out here for years. Worst meal by far was fish and chips which were both soggy and undercooked and serving it in styrofoam with the steam making it even worse, certainly didn’t help. And until this place, I’ve never gotten side eye for asking for condiments before. I’ve had pizza and sandwiches here and it’s standard last resort/walking distance take out. The store itself is staffed by unfriendly people on their cell phones or playing the lottery. The parking lot is also a nightmare if there are multiple people waiting for take out.

Fast and fair prices. Good food and friendly staff. They’re very professional and have a smile on their faces. Overall it’s your typical pizza joint. Just a touch of character here though. Plus next door is a convenience store…2 for 1!

Love this place. The calzones are the best in the city of Worcester. Hot, fresh and served with sides of marinara, which I always like to get more than 1 since the marinara is phenomenal. Must be homemade. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. I’ve never had a wrong order! Try the meatball calzone or spinach and feta. Awesome.

Great pizza, great sandwiches and friendly service. At the Brattle Stop — they work hard to make great products and please people. They are quick and conveniently located. What’s not to like?

The Brattle Stop Pizza is the closest eating establishment to my home. It is dangerously convenient for my family on those nights when we can’t come to a decision about what to have for dinner. My sandwich of choice is the Super Steak, without cheese. Brattle Stop has always gotten my order right, and for me, that’s a big deal. My family members get various pizza options, and I’ve never heard a complaint. Brattle Stop is convenient, reasonably priced, and they get my order right — always just 10 minutes.

#37 on the Worcester Pizza Quest Brattle Stop Pizza & Market is next in line for the great pizza quest of Worcester. Picked up the phone and dialed away hoping to find another gem in Worcester for pizza. A friendly man answer the phone, had a professional and attentive demeanor. We ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni large pizza with a side of french fries. Brattle Stop and pizza is located on the edge of Worcester near West Boylston and Holden. It is on a unique sharp corner beside train tracks. If you did not live near here you would never know where to find it. It is a clean but bit run down place with a full parking lot. On the right half of the building is the market and the left is the pizza shop. There were about 6 to 7 people working the shop which is unusual for a local Worcester pizza location. My assumption is not much competition so Brattle Pizza receives the majority of pizza orders for a few miles. There was a stack of pizza waiting to be picked up when I was next in line. A very polite and professional woman took my money and handed me the pizza. It seems there was some pride put into the business which is a good sign for a tasty pizza. The pizza arrived at the house safe and sound. Opened the box and the first impression is a bit confusing. It seems to be a hybrid of Greek and Italian style. It is not super bready looking like a Greek, but it was not thin like an Italian. Seeing the unique pizza had me wondering if this was going to be a unique eating experience. Excited about taking the first bite of the unique pizza I hungrily took a bite. The pizza had enough cheese leaning on the extra cheesy side which is usually good. The sauce seems ok but something seemed a bit off. The crust was soft almost a doughy but was fully cooked. It is hard to explain, it was not crispy but the softness was not gross. Hhhmmm it felt like eating a undercooked pizza dough but the darkness of a cooked crust evident. Also inspecting the crust showed it was fully cooked. It was very unique. After eating the first slice I kept thinking something seems a bit off. It wasn’t until the second slice that we both noticed is has a funky flavor. It was subtle enough that we did not fully realize it on the first slice but on the second slice the funky flavor could be detected. I have never experienced a flavor like it so can’t describe what it was. We talked about it and the only word that seemed to fit was«Funky»(not a cool 70s disco funky). It was very off putting after the first bite of the third slice I had to put it down I could not continue eating it. Just a bit over a half of pizza eaten we had to toss it. We did not want to even chance what it tasted like as cold pizza. The Brattle Stop and Pizza seemed busy and nice and the employees professional. The pizza was cook but had a unique look to it. The flavor was hard to explain and funky tasting. Since we could not pin down what the flavor was maybe it was just an off day for Brattle Pizza. Because I have to review the one pizza I bought I have to rate it very low since we could not finish eating it. If am ever in the area again I think I would try a small just to see if that same funkiness was still present. If I ever do I will revisit my rating but from the experience of the one pizza. I suggest to the people who lived in the area take the extra 7 minute drive to another location it would be worth it.

10 minutes is what they always say when you’re done ordering. When they say it, they mean it!! Your pizza is always ready on time. It is also hot, crispy and flavorful, above average for a little neighborhood pizza place. Three small pies will usually run right around 20 dollars. No complaints here!
