Whether you are interested in dance classes, modeling, acting lessons, vocal lesson, we have it all here for you. Located in heart of Worcester and conveniently off of 290, the building known as Brickyard Place has it all! An old style brick building on the outside with state of the art amenities inside, central air, central heat, three spacious floors and 5 classrooms make up this 3600 square foot complex. Central Mass Dance Academy offers training for dancers from beginners though advanced, we begin all dance training at age of two.

Classes offered include: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Break Dancing, Boys Only classes. Acting, Private Vocal lessons, Group Musical Theater Classes, Pilates, Acrobatics, and more.

CMDA offers classes for both the recreational dancer and for the dancer who would like to study dance on a more serious level, as well as adult classes for fitness.

Meet the Business Owner

Kellie S.

Business Owner

Ms. Kellie is the owner/​director of Central Mass Dance Academy since its inception. She teaches all ages and levels of classes at the studio. Ms. Kellie has her BA in Dance & BA in Communications from the University for Massachusetts at Amherst. While at UMASS she was captain and traveled with the nationally ranked dance team and competed nationally finishing in the top ten in the nation each year she was captain. Kellie has over 13 years of teaching experience at all levels and over 28 years of dance experience. CMDA is not your average dance studio, as it also offers acting classes, vocal and musical theater lessons. Plus, the studio shares space with that of Kellie’s mother’s business, Karon Shea Model Management and La Femmina Modeling Center, where she is also the assistant director. Ms. Kellie is also owner/​director of The Actor’s Loft here at CMDA. Ms. Kellie is a licensed teacher in dance thru the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is a dance teacher for t
