Children’s Garden Child Care Center at the VNA

Wonderful nurturing and small daycare located at the VNA with a nice attached, enclosed playground. There are only 40 kids here so the teachers know them all regardless of age. Its more of a close knit setting for kids to really get to know their caretakers personally. They have a one baby room, a toddler 1 and 2 room as well as a pre-​school room. There is an attached playground where the kids can play in the Summer. In the Winter the VNA has an auditorium where the kids go to run around to get exercise. Stimulating activities are planned all day for the children as well and they are on a nice schedule. Children are sent home with art projects almost every day and a daily report of all activities. They also have special events sometimes for the kids, where they bring in performers (musical and otherwise) as well as educational presenters for nature/​science etc. It’s also very reasonably priced for all they offer. It’s just a wonderful nurturing and loving environment for the children. The Director Pat is top notch. Her staff also really cares and seem happy to be there. Very important when interacting with the children and you can certainly see the love the children have for being there.
