History

Established in 1994.

Designs By Joseph was opened on September 15, 1994 in the city of Worcester, MA. The owner, Joseph Somi, first began tailoring in 1976, and his passion for custom tailoring burgeoned ever since. He learned his craft in Beirut– the Paris of the Middle East– before practicing it in Syria. Joseph brings over 38 years of experience in custom tailoring and alterations to his work, and it shows! Every garment that is brought in is personally handled by Joseph and is expertly altered to make you look your best.
