DFAB is Bryan DiFabio, Audio Engineer and Producer. Prior to freelancing, Bryan opened the doors to DFAB Studios, a state of the art facility located in El Cajon. While open for approximately 4 years, many artists spanning all genres took their projects into the studio. Bryan now has an array of studios where he can take his clients, and chooses carefully depending on the project’s needs.

Bryan holds a degree in Audio Production from AI New England. Before opening the doors at DFAB Studios, Bryan produced and recorded multiple full-length albums, toured with his band, The Predicates, and held residencies as a club DJ in New England and southern California. Bryan has years of experience recording and engineering many popular artists of all genres from southern California.

Meet the Business Owner

Bryan P.

Business Owner

Raised in New Hampshire, Bryan started to get into music at the age of 16, when he picked up DJing as a hobby. It soon become so much more to him, and still DJs to this day at local clubs in the area by the name D-Fab. When he turned 20, he decided to go to the Art Institute of New England where he graduated with an Associates in Audio Production. Since that same time, he has also been producing his own electronic music tracks and to date has 4 releases out on ITunes and other digital stores.

Shortly after graduating, he moved out to San Diego where he ran his studio as a hobby. As with DJing, he knew he wanted to take this to the next level. After working with 15 recording artists over 5 years, including recording his former band, The Predicates, he decided he was ready to move to the next step. In March of 2011, his studio was officially opened. The studio remained open for 4 years, until he decided to shut the doors and go out on his own as a Freelance Engineer/Producer.
