Tried it due to proximity and convenience. Against my better judgment at that. The food was underwhelming and borderline unpleasant. It was definitely artificial (and probably processed/​frozen) Chinese food. No thanx. I didn’t bother to eat any leftovers. I won’t return.

The food here is not the best or the worst. I get the the combination plates. You get a lot of food for short money. The staff was friendly and the order was made quickly, in and out in 15 minutes. My only complaints are the tables were very sticky, and the crab rangoons are wicked nasty. Other than that everything seems fine.

I returned to this restaurant around the middle of last year. I had stopped because of lack of consistency in the food and the roughness of the ladies who worked the counter. I had been away for quite a number years.
From what I understand, they have changed hands and brought in a new chef.
The food is much better now and I haven’t had any bad experiences yet. There is one thing I absolutely hate and that is any type of bell peppers. When I get something that I am not sure of, I ask if it has them (bell peppers) and if it does, I have them leave the peppers out. They have been very accommodating on this.
All in all, I will be returning again.

Meh. Lo mein was lo boring. Shrimp not properly deveined. Chicken fingers were a little soggy. Typical cheap Chinese. Got hung up on while placing my order.

Sooo… I have to update this. Foodworks changed hands from my last review. While the front desk help with the bit of attitude is gone, so to is the quality that made this place good Chinese. I’ve eaten here twice in the last month, and the food quality has suffered immensely. Dry, tiny chicken wings, fatty boneless ribs, and that lobster sauce that I raved about? It tasted like it’s gone bad and it was clotted in spots, I was picking some sort of gelatin out of it and ended up tossing my meal. It’s sad, but thankfully there are enough places around here to get Chinese, even if this place had some great portions for the money. Oh well…

We ordered take out for the 1st time last night. The place seems very dirty and the ladies running the counter a little «rough». I brought the food home (had a curry dish, crab rangoon, pork fried rice, mixed veggies, and sweet sour chicken) and it was nasty. The Curry dish had a lump of dried spices in the middle of the contained like they expect me to mix and cook my own meal. Won’t be going back.
