History

Established in 2010.

MathAltitude responds to the broadening concern regarding the situation with mathematical education in America. We studied various programs offered throughout Worcester County and came up with the solution destined to augment existing math curricula in local public and private schools and to provide additional means for parents to extend their kids’ horizons. The MathAltitude curricula was created based on the most effective European teaching methodologies that allow learning mathematics in a systematic, structured, and logical way.

Meet the Business Owner

Boris S.

Business Owner

The founders of the school are industry professionals with more than 20 years of experience and a passion for teaching. For number of years we have been involved in teaching and management of various after-​school programs.

Boris Serebrennikov, MathAltitude Founder, holds a B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow State University of Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical and Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell. Mr. Serebrennikov is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Engineering and works as a Senior Research Engineer.

Olga Serebrennikov, MathAltitude Co-​founder and Principal, holds a B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Moscow Technical University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from WPI. She has extensive industry experience in the field of Telecommunication. Mrs. Serebrennikov has been teaching mathematics for more than 6 years at various after-​school math programs in Boston area and at WPI.
