Love this bar, owner is an adorable older man who works occasionally. Weekend and night staff are amazing, daytime bartender can be rude but he’s been there forever so they keep him there. Great atmosphere with cheap drinks and if you get to know the bartenders they’ll treat you like family, they even have a polar plunge fundraising team for special olympics. Long story short great family owned bar with sweet people plus cool stories. Will come again and again

This place is a no frills, don’t complain about spots on your glass kind of a bar. You get a beer and a shot. If your that shithead going in there looking for an appletini you are too stupid to live! Good little bar, beer is cold and cheap so how can you beat that!

Cool location, cheap beer, friendly bar tender and apparently the oldest bar in Worcester. Went mid day so no crowd, and for where it is i doubt there would ever be a large one. Will come again.

Great little neighborhood bar if you’re looking for a cheap place to grab a drink before a show at the DCU Center or The Palladium, but DONOTGOTHERE during weekdays! The daytime bartender regularly yells at and berates customers, and many locals won’t go there because of his notoriety. The 4 star review is based ENTIRELY on the evening and weekend staff and atmosphere

I read the other review for this place and I think when a person goes into family owned dive bar and complains about drinks being too strong, you know the person has no idea what he’s talking about. Pros: Cheap drinks True Dive Bar setup Dark Family ran Cons: Little control of juke box Listen if you like old school dive bars, you’ll like this place. Strong drinks, loud people, dark and a little dirty. It’s my kind of place for drinks before a show or just to get drunk. Thanks

The drinks are okay, a little strong which is good in my opinion. Bartender was friendly at first, then flips out on me while I’m picking music with this girl that was at the bar. I’m assuming that’s his girlfriend or he likes her. Anyways, the bar was like any other bar I’ve been to. The people were friendly with the one exception. I’m not really sure, but maybe the bartender had something to drink because he was really nice to me at the beginning. That alone is a dealbreaker… it’s unprofessional and rude to yell at a customer. Had he not screamed at me at the top of his lungs, I would have given this place 3 stars.
