Today was my first visit at this barber shop.
I’m not from Worcester, but I’m up here often and needed a haircut at last minute before I go on vacation.
Was recommended by a friend who goes here.
Called them up Thursday mid day got an appointment with Keila for Friday morning.
I’m always skeptical when going to new barber shops because I have 3 cow-​licks, and really thick wavy hair, and I can be very picky with the way my hair comes out. After all, appearance = first impressions.
I told her I wasn’t really sure what I wanted, but I had grown the top of my hair out for a year, and was sick of it in my face, and wanted it off.
I told her how I wanted the sides but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the top so she suggested keeping the style I originally had but just going shorter and I agreed with that because I still loved the undercut style I had.
She spent detailed amount of time on my hair and it was very appreciated!
My FAVORITE part…
She wrapped a warm towel on my face, it shocked me at first cause I never had that type of experience before, felt like I was at a spa.
And it had a strong, good smelling aroma to it.
My allergies were actually bothering me today and after she wrapped that on my face it helped clear my nasal passages too!
But the main reason for that warm towel was to loosen up the hair follicles.
So after all that I look in the mirror and I loved my hairstyle. My original barber had done it the same way for so long it was nice to see a different approach to that style on my face.
I give MVP a 5 star because the service was really good, she showed interest in me as a customer and seemed to really care about how well it came out and wasn’t frustrated with the fact I was indecisive about what I wanted to do with my hair.
When I’m in Worcester and need a cut I’ll definitely come back to Keila!

Went here for my first time ever.
The place was packed, being Valentine’s Day, and they had five or six barbers working.
I was taken by Devin. GREAT JOB! Did exactly what I want, with a great blend. Shaved my face. Straight razor on the hairline. Just a perfect, perfect haircut. I wish I discovered him and MVP a lot sooner.
Reasonably priced too! I recommend; request Devin if you remember.
