Always polite and friendly. Absolutely enormous sandwiches with high quality ingredients, delicious fresh made bread every day, and at a great price. Most are enough for two meals and only $ 7 – 8. Tons of delicious dessert options too!

I give them a 3 star, only because they had a wide variety of good-looking pastry, pasta etc. I just bought 4 of those lobster tails and I personally think I have had better. They were nice and big and loaded with cream, that was way too runny, Not thick enough and too much sugar, making it hard to taste the supposed real cream. I thought lobster tails were supposed to be filled with a rich, creamy custard?

Amazing. I threw a small baby shower yesterday and ordered the food from Palma’s. First they were so nice and helpful. And then the food, we ordered a fruit tray, I was expecting something like you’d at the supermarket and was I wrong, this was homemade, incredible and fresh. We also had lasagna, meatballs, sausage, chicken Marsala, salad, pastries. Everything was so delicious, we had a really happy crowd which contributed to a lovely afternoon.

Forget wholly cannolli which is a stones throw away .This place has much better cannolli along with other great fresh pastries. Their sandwiches are fantastic, especially the Italian .Plus tbeir prices are cheaper than getting a piece of crap sub from a Subway chain down the street Best kept secret in Worcester!

Legitimately the best kept secret in Worcester. They have the best cannoli and lobster tail in Worcester for about a third less than any of their better known competitors. The other desserts are wonderful as well. I most notable are the tiramisu, the wine cookies, and the fig bars. The deli is also top notch. Provided the bread was made that morning they make the best Italian grinder in the city. That’s not hyperbole. It’s the truth. The one item I wasn’t pleased with was the homemade Italian sausage. I grilled it and just rang thrilled with the flavors

I swear I just had one of the best cold cut sandwiches I have EVER had ! The Calabrese sandwich rocks, It was stuffed(and I mean stuffed) with some real quality meats and toppings on good fresh bread. I also can’t say enough about how friendly these people are. There are not many places like this around anymore, if you are looking for a real Italian bakery and deli you need to check out this old school place, its a little hard to find but worth going to, trust me.

I have been meaning to try this place! My husband and I finally went to check it out, we both got sandwiches which came on the most delicious rolls. He order the Calabrese which was loaded with meats and cheese and I had the Capresi which did not come with fresh basil but was still great. Picked up a lobster tail to split when we got home and grabbed some fresh gnocci’s which are never in my grocery store. Loved the old school Italian atmosphere! We will definitely go back!!! Agree, «hidden gem».

Worcester is really a cool city with pockets of great stuff. I am fortunate to have to travel there a few times each month for work. I found Palma’s by mistake… had gotten a bit lost trying to get from downtown to the Rt 122 Pike entrance. I was sitting at a traffic light on Grafton St, stomach rumbling, and just caught a glimpse of their sign, pointing to the right. I took a chance and am really glad I did. Palma’s is an authentic Italian store featuring sandwiches, dessert, expresso, and grocery items. I had a grilled chicken and peppers with lettuce(shredded!) and tomatos. Fresh and delicious. The sub rolls were a step above the usual, unless you are buying a sub from New Deal Fruit in Revere, or Pace and Sons in the North End. With the Regatta Deli anchoring the other side of the city, it is great to know about Palma’s

Wow. I cannot believe no one has reviewed this place. This is a great little italian bakery walkable from Wholly Cannolli, where you can get fresh Italian bread, homemade cookies. Homemade Meatballs/subs Chicken Parm etc, and has an Italian grocery attached. Two words — Homemade everything. Go there. It is very very good. Complete with«oh ayyes» coming from the seated patronage.
