Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts began as the Birth Control League of Massachusetts, founded with the mission of making every child a wanted child. For over 80 years, PPLM has been a trusted provider of essential health care, comprehensive sexual education, and political advocacy.

PPLM believes that sexual health is essential to every person’s well-​being. Our seven health centers across the Commonwealth serve patients of every background, regardless of insurance, income, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, education, or political beliefs. We strive to replace fear with facts and misinformation with education so that all people are empowered to make informed choices about their bodies and sexual health.

From HIV tests to pap tests, the Pill to free condoms, Planned Parenthood is here for you. You can rely on PPLM for confidential, affordable sexual health services for men and women.

Appointments can be scheduled on short notice and some same-​day appointments are available. Our supply window is open daily for birth control pick-​ups, emergency contraception, and free condoms, lube, and dental dams.

PPLM accepts many insurance plans including MassHealth. A sliding fee scale is available for patients without insurance; to be considered for the sliding scale, please bring a pay stub, photo ID, and proof of residence.
