I wish I could rate the office staff and the Dr. separately. The Dr. did a good job, the office staff is what really gets the 2 stars. My GF went in for a regular eye appointment which is suppose to be covered under my eye insurance. She made the mistake of mentioning that she had a mild concussion during the appointment, from a car accident six months prior to the eye appointment. The appointment was for a regular check up, nothing extra was done just the normal eye exam. Next thing we know a bill for over $ 200.00 comes in and a rejection letter from my medical insurance stating the exam was being billed as a hospital visit and not an eye exam.
We call up the Dr. office and right away got the run around. It took almost a month going back and forth to get the issue resolved and to get them to bill it correctly so the insurance would pay it as the normal eye exam that it was! The staff first tried to say they couldn’t change the billing code after a bill was generated. Then another staffer claimed only the doctor could change the billing code. Yet, another office worker claimed they don’t deal with billing. There were two occasions where we were put on «hold», aka hung up on. Finally after numerous attempts to get the office manager on the phone and promises that we would get a call back, the office manger called and begrudgingly agreed the billing code was wrong and it was fixed.
My insurance sent notice that the bill was paid in FULL. Yet a week later another bill was sent, this time the code was correct but they wanted us to pay the amount claiming the insurance was taking too long. In the end the insurance notified them that payment was already sent and they stopped contacting us.
Because of the billing issue and the way it was handled, I cannot in good faith go back to this place. Shame too because the Dr. seemed nice and professional.

I had a great experience here. My father had been going here for a few years so when I got a speck of something stuck to my eye I made an appointment. Everyone was friendly and professional. The office is clean, well lit, and efficient. I never had to wait very long to be seen. Dr. Anderson was confident but not cocky, knowledgable, approachable, and gladly answered all of my questions. Most importantly, her steady hand was able to quickly and painlessly remove the well-​embedded foreign body from my eye. I felt very comfortable the whole time. Top-​notch place and staff, highly recommended.
