Established in 1988.

Old Time Tree Cutter (a Insured year round tree service) has been specializing in rope and saddle, residential tree work since 1988. Providing service to Wrentham and surrounding towns in Massachusetts. We are a green company, recycling 100% of the material that we truck. It’s hard to beat the attention to detail and your needs that we provide because I (David Brown) personally handle all calls and estimates as well as being the lead climber and foreman on every job. On the ground I only hire the very best local workers to assist me.

Business Owner

Born March 25, 1971 and grew up in Medfield Massachusetts.

In 1988 at age 17 I started working under the name of Old Time Tree Cutter (I just got my first Car and needed gas money).

I majored in Forestry at Norfolk County Agricultural School and graduated with the class of 1989.

In 1989 I rented my first apartment on East St., in Walpole and while still working under the name Old Time Tree Cutter on the side I took a full-​time job with Davey tree at that time in Norwood Massachusetts.

In 1990 after a year with Davey tree I moved on to the DJ Snyder Company out of Newton and spent two years working as their tree crew foreman and lead climber. Owner of the DJ Snyder company David Snyder is a good boss to have and a good friend who provided me with an invaluable learning experience.

1992 was a big year for me I bought my first home in Wrentham Massachusetts and left the DJ Snyder Company to work for myself full-​time.

1998 I bought my first truck (and yes that thing had a 392 Hemi).
