Royal Movers

Regardless if this company is BBB accredited, it was not a good experience dealing with one of the movers. We had paid for two guys to come move our belongings into a semi that was being transported by a different company. When arriving, the «main» guy along with his partner did a walk through of the house with my husband when the main guy got a phone call. Homeboy took his phone call out to the street and was literally shouting at whomever he was talking to about another client they had just worked for. This started eating into the time I was now paying for. During the duration of the loading, they took a few smoke/​drink breaks which is to be expected when working hard… but not over ten minutes each for only working a couple hours. And to repeat himself, dude got on the phone again towards the end of the loading which was still in my paying time. At one point during the loading, my husband had talked to me about the amount to tip them, telling me that the main guy had let him know they usually get $ 100 each. I was pissed… what company employee suggests that?
Since our stuff was being loaded into this semi, there was a barricade we were required to put up at the end of where our belongings were and a latch was needed to be put into place. My husband had asked the main guy to put it up and he agreed to it, no problem. The guy had some trouble putting it up, but nonetheless, got it up. It took about ten minutes to do so.
When all of the work was finished, we were 15 minutes behind the two hours we had agreed on so the main guy was charging us for extra time. I normally wouldn’t have a problem with this, however, there were phone calls made by the main guy and longer than ten minute breaks taken. When we brought it up to the main guy, his response was «Well, I have to call it in now. I can’t tell the boss not to count the extra 15 minutes. Besides, I put up that barricade for you and if this were my company, I would have charged extra for that.» What a big mouthed, asking for extra money, douche bag. The other guy that was his partner, was quiet, friendly, on point and hard working.
I would have gone off on the guy, but I just wanted to get the hell out of there instead of arguing with an ass clown right before leaving a state that I wanted to see in my rear view mirror.

Exceptional work performed by these fellas over at the Royal Mover establishment. They have not failed me once and continue to put the competitors to shame with their exceptional work at the best price. Don’t be fooled with the others low estimate because my buddy learned the hard way. The add on costs will take you far above the original estimate.
This company did a move for a relative awhile back and although he did not get an estimate from Royak the hourly price quoted per hour along with a guesstimate by him have him a rough ball park of a price. And at first glance it would seem to be false advertisement by Royal claiming to be the cheapest rates in town. But he decided to go with them because of his previous recommendations. And as expected they were the cheapest!!! Comparing my buddy and relatives similar move and square footage the competition was $ 300 more after all the extra charges. I don’t know how Royal Movers could improve in the initial quote to ensure they do indeed have the lowest price after all else is said and done but they need to figure something out because when you call it seems they are a little over priced? Maybe posting receipts from the competitors along with a receipt from a similar job?
Whatever the case A+ service from a local company!

This company is a joke, Chaz, is the owner caused me out on phone because HIS guy broke my armoire. Was 2day move came 2^nd started moving, stopped them, charged, to unload my stuff, ANC left me hanging. Worse part guys that came to move where cool, I WOULD NOT hire Royal movers unless you want a Royal screwing.

This place employs thieves! 3 men moved us from Northville Township to Downtown Northville. Arrived 3 hours late. Broke several items including a king headboard. Stole a bag of old silver coins. Creepy and gross. We should have called the police!!!
