Main Street Pizzeria & Grille

I have ordered take-​out and dined in at this place. Great food and service. A large menu with great selections and reasonable prices. Our most recent visit to dine in, Danielle was the best server. She was so friendly, patient, and kind. She was very attentive to my 4 young kids and made sure that we always had what we needed.

The pizza is okay. I ordered half ranchero and sweety pie. The pizza was not warm when it was delivered. The sweety pie was okay, but the ranchero was not good at all. Don’t order that if you go. I had pizza MUCH better than for much cheaper price. I call to tell them it did not arrive warm. The girl talked to her manager and said, they are sorry they can’t just give me a free pizza because it was cold.

Came here once recently for lunch. Though it appeared the inside isn’t really set up for eat — in, we were able to sit outside. They have single slices of different pizzas available, or order a whole pizza. I just ordered two slices, which were pretty good. The crust was nice & crispy. Convenient location, on Greenwood Ave just west of the Jenkintown train station.

The food at Main Street is really tasty. Great sandwiches, wings and PIZZA! They have a lovely staff as well.

Awesomeness delivered to your door! The chunky sauce is so yummy, order it on the Margaritas, and make it even more delicious.
Best part, IT ARRIVED HOT off the oven. Wow. This is good stuff.
We were so hungry we digged right into the pizzas. Pictures next time!

Wow what great pizza! Order the briscetta pizza and a meat lovers. both were amazing. The delivery service was friendly and quick.
They definitely will be getting more business. If you find yourself anywhere near Wyncote check them out.

I like this place, friendly staff and a mean steak, like seriously their steak is really good.

Had my first taste of this local pizzeria. WOW. Didn’t know that you could order online, it made it SUPER EASY, and delivery was spot on. I am a fan of their pizza crust, and Chicken Cheese Steak.

Their cool but i didn’t like when I ordered a cheeseburger and said no tomatoes and they put tomatoes on there anyways other than that i don’t like their sausage pizza but I like their chicken fingers and mozzarella balls they’re awesome.

Great chicken cheese steak. Pizza is not so good. The crust is very thick and needs salt.

The sweety pie is fantastic and the sauce and cheeses on the pie are very flavorful and delicious. The hot wings are the best I’ve had in the area and are very meaty and the sauce has just the right amount of spice. The fries are nice and crispy and the garden salad is great too and has many delicious veggie toppings. Delivery is also very fast and they also bottle their own specialty sodas which is a nice touch! This is our Friday or Saturday night take out go to!

If like me you don’t like crowds and noise, go early

I’ve only ever ordered the sweetie pie but it’s so good and it never disappoints me. The rest of the menu also looks appealing because they do have some interesting specialty pizzas. Last time I was there I got half a meat lovers on the sweetie pie and it was great!

I order from this place about once a week or biweekly. It’s on the side of the road and I’m not sure if they have a parking lot but I had to pay for the meters. They have two little places, one for dining in and taking out. You have to go through the right door if you’re picking up. They’ll tell you to go next door. Something I didn’t like. Anyways, my go to and favorite pizza to order from here is the sweety pie. It’s a simple pizza but they have spots of sweet marinara sauce. It’s so delicious. The crust tastes so authentic and crunchy. I’d recommend trying this pizza if you love sweets and you don’t mind that there’s no meat.

It’s not just a pizzeria, it does have good pizza, but it also has a full menu of other things, both hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pasta dishes, appetizers, and even dessert! It’s the breadth and consistent high quality of the menu that really does it for me here. As an extra plus, the people who work here are really friendly.
There is both sit-​down and take out, on separate sides. The take out side has slices of pizza to go. The service has been consistently really good on the sit-​down side, and I’ve never had to wait very long when ordering take-​out.
The pizza is solidly good. It’s not like, mind-​blowing artisanal pizza. If I were to suggest an improvement in the pizza, to my tastes, I’d want it a little floppier, greasier, more garlic, and cooked at a higher temperature (that sort of singed around the edge look). But I may have slightly peculiar tastes here… the pizza here is definitely above average and it’s my favorite pizza within a mile walk of my house. My favorite pizzas are the ones with more vegetables on them. They have a good array of toppings, and some good specialty pizzas to choose from.
What really sells me on this place though is the consistent quality across all menu items. Everything I’ve ordered here has been good; there have been no disappointments. One item I love is the pork sandwich with sharp provolone – they use really quality cheese on this one, it’s like authentic Italian cheese, salty and very strong tasting. The cold sandwiches are also good, they have a classic old-​school flavor. The desserts here are also good. Other items I like and recommend include the fried calamari, the salads, and the zeppolini (fried donut things) for dessert.
Back before it opened, there was an old restaurant here called Linda Jean’s, which was similar. I was so sad when it closed, but I was excited to see this place reopen in its place: it seems to be a slight upgrade to what was an already awesome restaurant. This place has been newly renovated. The inside of the sit-​down area already looked nice to begin with, but it looks much nicer now. And the prices haven’t gone up – which is great because the prices here are really reasonable.
Lastly? I love the location. It’s super convenient to where I live… right next to the Jenkintown train station. I never drive here, and there’s no lot, but there are a couple metered parking spaces out front. I think this restaurant is great though because it’s one of the few restaurants near downtown Wyncote, and I think it fills a major gap in the neighborhood, especially after the restaurant in the train station closed some time ago. Having this restaurant here helps me to drive my car less, because it’s the only restaurant within close walking distance of where I live.
So, in summary? Heck yeah. I really recommend checking this place out if you haven’t been yet.

Great little spot. I have been working around the corner for several weeks and still have not run out of interesting and delicious options. Service has always been fast and courteous. An overall great option for lunch and dinner.
