Springfield Towing & Recovery

The driver took over 3 hours to come, kept changing the time and changing the time. Meanwhile it was 90 degrees, no working air conditioner. Towed the car on a flatbed when it should have been on a wheel and dolly. End result, $ 2,800 in damage to my Mercedes. We’ll see if they admit liability! To be continued

Avoid at all a costs. Rude and never showed showed after calling several times. Left me stranded for over 3 hours when I was just 2 miles from their location. Refused to provide an ETA after they were over an hour late from the original ETA my insurance roadside assistance provided when they set up the tow truck. Horrible experience and I would never recommend or call this place again.

Great drivers and the owner is very nice great place
One night I broke down and they came out towed my car to my house and the drive mike was very nice even helped out to get my car in a parking spot thanks Springfield towing.

DISAPPOINTING
I don’t know who the owner/​manager of Springfield Towing & Recovery LLC is, but they really need to check their driver.
Guy was dispatched to our house today and couldn’t find it. We understood his frustration as it is NOT an easy find. That is why we provided specific instructions for finding us — to roadside assistance when placing the initial call. The driver did not follow instructions.
Driver called as requested and said he could not find the house. Each time I attempted to direct him, he was rude and and interrupted me and said he would not drive back down our street again unless I came and stood on the corner. He was less than ½ a block away.
Mind you, it’s very cold and raining. The ground was icy earlier. I explained that I had already fallen and hurt myself on the ice today and would rather guide him via telephone. He cut me off each time I tried to do so.
He refused to come back down the street, less than ½ of a block unless I walked to the corner and directed him in person. As I was calling roadside assistance, the driver returned to the requested pick up point and called. I politely told him we did not appreciate his poor attitude and would not be needing his service. I then called Springfield Towing to speak with the owner but got a voice mail. No call back yet.
The driver then called roadside assistance and lied — said he was given the wrong address.
Roadside assistance called me to find out what was going on and cancelled service with Springfield Towing and has now despatched a different towing service…
Like I said, I don’t know if this is standard operating procedure for Springfield Towing or if the driver was having a bad day, but he certainly did not represent the company well today.

Great service really helped me out of a jam with my truck. Driver was really nice and rates were reasonable highly recommend these guys if you need a tow.
