History

Established in 2011.

In 2011, Matt took over his father’s agency as agency owner. Marty Straub, Matt’s father, started the agency in 1978 when Allstate was still partners with Sears. Joan, one of the current agents in the agency, started working for Marty in 1986, the same year Matt was born. In the mid 90’s, Marty partnered with personal financial representative, Brad Bittner, helping families become financially prepared for the future. Many years later in 2006 Matt started working for his father along side his sister, Celeste, who started in 2008. Mike Coulter joined the team in 2010 just before Matt took over in 2011. Together, this family of professionals has been helping families in the community with their insurance needs ever since.

Business Owner

Born and raised in the area. Matthew is the agency owner. Graduated from Lake-​Lehman in 2005, and Penn State University in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. Started working for his father in 2006 while finishing school at the Wilkes Barre Campus. You’ll often see him and his dog walking, hiking, and fishing.
