I find it funny that the staff has arguing matches by the buffet and the place has gotten so cheap, they can even afford to put sprinkles out for the ice cream

Wasn’t too impressed. Food tasted good but the whole place looked disgusting. Dirty floors, disgusting bathrooms, not enough staff, too cramped, counters covered in food, a lot of food was empty, running out of plates, cups, etc… Definitely not coming back, especially to this one.

I am intrigued with places like this. There’s nothing like it in NYC… But for $ 15 you get what u pay for: an «international» spread of unlimited food that can quench even the most difficult palette of a teen. I was hesitant to try this. It looked crowded and lines around the food were long. Not my scene. But– Place was clean, people were friendly, the food was average but expansive. What can I say? While my son has expensive taste, he does eat with his eyes first and was happy he didn’t have to dress up nor lay a cloth napkin on his lap. He ate like the locals: sloppy and ALOT. Now, where’s the nearest walmart for expandable waist pants?

This restaurant is a great place to come with the family. I like the chicken and mashed potatoes. They have good cakes and the place is spacious. However, they need more variety than just American food. Some Spanish entrees would be nice.

Food is seriously ok but the place is FILTHY — nothing makes my day more than when my shoes stick to the floor. Place is filled with the classic crowd you find at a $ 7 buffet — enough said

I am not a big fan of the Old Country Buffet probably because the one I experienced in Philadelphia off the Boulevard sucked big time. I have to say, though, that this OCB was highly organized, had friendly and efficient staff, and food was better than average for a buffet. There were many misses, but also a lot of hits such as the fried chicken. The group that I was with(a bunch of Girl Scouts and some parents) seemed to have a very good time. The restaurant was quite packed on a Saturday, but the staff said that usually on a rainy day they are more crowded than normal. The price is right for this OCB in particular. The OCB in Philadelphia needs to learn a thing or two from this one in Wyomissing!

The food is what you might expect at a buffet. The steak is so tuff you can barely chew it, however the chicken is delicious. The men’s room stinks and is not large enough. As I am handicapped I used the handicap stall. I nearly fell off the commode since the seat was so loose. I continue to have the senior lunch there(1 pm — 3 pm) weekdays. The price is great then. Two can eat for under $ 14.00 and not pay extra for drinks.

No, there probably isn’t anything special about this location than any other Old Country Buffet you’ve been to when it comes to the food. However, a tempting deal like an all-you-can-eat for $ 10 is satisfying as I can pile my plate with salad and a nice array of vegetables and get filled up on that alone. I also always liked the baked haddock here too. However, one of the main reasons why I wanted to review this particular location of Old Country Buffet is the outstanding level of service I’ve experienced here — for a chain. The serving stations are kept very clean and are organized here — which is wonderful and impressive as families go here with small children. If a small child happens to make a bit of a mess at the taco bar, someone is sending an employee out to that taco bar via intercom to clean it up stat! The staff keeps things very organized and clean here — from the dining area, to the seating and to the restrooms. The manager seems to be very friendly and personable — and will even ask you how you’re enjoying your meal sometimes. The waitstaff cleans up after you and will occasionally bring out trays of goodies from the serving stations for you to try which is very nice of them. I’ve been dining here with my family a countless amount of times in the past and one of our favorite waitresses here is Marysia. She is so friendly, warm and attentive and is a true mark of excellent customer service. So, nine times out of ten, if I’m coming back here… it’s not just for the food but for the excellent customer service that makes me forget that I’m dining at a chain… and that’s truly commendable.

A good place to take your family out to eat for a reasonable price. If you are counting your calories you can eat healthy there. If calories are not a problem there is plenty of selection for you to enjoy.
