— A pedorthic facility, where we specialize in fitting and modifying footwear, solving foot-​related problems and disorders, and, when appropriate, making custom orthotics and shoes

History

Established in 1982.

Tim Sontag was trained in the art of shoe repair by an experienced cobbler in Northern Ohio in the early 80’s. He bought the repair shop upon the old cobbler’s retirement and brought it to Xenia, Ohio where shoe repair shops were few, and friendships from his days at Antioch College were established. From the days of an old store front and a kerosene heater, Tim has stayed focused on quality workmanship and good customer service. Today he has two beautifully restored storefronts containing a full-​service shoe repair and shoe store, as well as a great staff of cobblers/​shoe fitters who are ready to help you.
