History

Established in 1968.

Opened originally by Dr. Tom Gilmore then joined by Dr. Donal Shute in 1985 and Dr. Michael Noble in 1993. When the Group Health clinic closed Dr. Christopher Babin then joined the practice in 2008.

Gossip, Gossip! This place is worthy of their own reality television show. I am appalled by how frequently and loudly the receptionist gossip, It’s like they Ignore people in the waiting room. This just in, we can hear you!
This was my first ever visit to an eye center, and I was very nervous. It didn’t help becoming agitated by the amount of chatter coming from the front desk.
Long story short, to my dismay I had to return to do a series of test for Glaucoma. Already very nervous, I come in to a woman who continuously has to give me the same series of test over and over again and if it wasn’t for the grace of her decent superior I free I would be blind.
There’s 100’s of places to go in Yakima for eye exams, just don’t go here.

I have always been impressed with how they run their clinic. Recently I had an issue with one of my eyes being swollen shut and instead of scheduling me for the following day, they were able to get me in right before they closed! They are the only ones that I would trust with my eye care!
