Ladies and gentlemen… all I have to say is WOW! FOB Ghost Cat really is quite the treat! First off, the weather is outstanding. A nice cool breeze in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The sun is off and on but everyone’s bright and constant smiles warm you up just enough. The staff are friendly, well mannered and will give you no reason not to have the time of your life. I will admit that I have never felt the growl of a hungry belly with three heavily portioned meals every day. There are warm beds that are in tents! All guests share a communal sleeping area which puts off a great family like vibe. Not to mention it allows you to disconnect with the world and really embrace the great outdoors. This is a 5 star FOB and I will gladly return back here year after year.

FOB Ghost Cat was named in honor of one of our team member’s deceased cat which had to be euthanized on the 3rd day we established our FOB. Since the cat’s memorial, good fortune has favored us all, thus we honor the spirit of the Ghost Cat by naming the FOB after him. Food: 5 stars due to the quantity we receive, the price, and it is always delivered on time. No soldier has gone hungry or without the opportunity for a hot meal while at FOB Ghost Cat. Service: Again, 5 stars. Food is always served with a smile and in generous portions. On special occasions it is self serve allowing you to have as much or little as you want. The staff at FOB Ghost Cat makes you feel at home, as all meals are eaten together, family style. Note: I should caution you about the crows, cause in the words of one of the natives: «they’re only going to get bigger.»
