I was traveling through town for work, and my «check oil» light came on. I did a quick search and found these guys close by. Despite not having an appointment, they checked my fluids, topped off the oil and wiper fluid, and sent me on my way in less than 10 minutes. What a pleasant surprise. Thanks!

I can’t honestly review the work this business does, since I didn’t end up taking my car in there. But I can tell you something about their attitude, and that counts for a lot:
I ran into trouble with my oil pressure and some stalling half-​way through a five-​hour drive to Seattle, and ended up at a rest area a few miles past Yakima, concerned about whether I should go on. I got the numbers of some repair shops from AAA and made arrangements for a tow, for which they told me I’d probably have to wait two hours.
So at 4:55 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, after getting no answer at two other shops, I called Yakima Automotive and found myself talking to Nathan. He took a good 10 – 15 minutes finding out exactly what the problem was and gave me some very good advice that allowed me to cancel the tow, address the problem, and finish my trip. Even when it was clear that I probably would not be bringing the car into his shop, he made sure I understood exactly what the issues were and seemed genuinely concerned that I get home safely and with the least expense and inconvenience.

I was pleasantly surprised when Bob and his great staff could fit in an oil change on short notice for my daughter who was visiting for the day.
Since it had been a while since we’d had any car repairs, their mechanics ran a thorough check on the car and found a number of issues that we needed to address.
