Absolutely amazing service! Al and Steve went above and beyond to make sure that my car was handled beautifully and dealt with all of the insurance headaches for me. They also made getting a rental so easy so I had no issues whatsoever. Turn around time was very quick as well, so I wasn’t without my car for too long. My car is more beautiful now than the day I got it. Thank you!

They did my inspection/​tire change quickly and for a good price. Plus they have great Saturday hours, which a lot of local shops don’t have.

These guys work with you. So, I’ve been having some serious bad car luck. The first time was a couple of months ago. Granted, the reason I was visiting guys was a terrible one, I’m glad I went to them. I was and hope to continue to be a complete amateur in these circumstances but they held my hand for the whole process. When all was said and done, my car was better than new. You are in good hands with these fellas.

This place is great! My dad brings all of our cars to Central Auto Body. Our family has known Al for years, he and his team always takes fantastic care of us.
When ever I have an issue with my Jeep, or need routine maintenance, this is my goto place. Great service and a great price. I am always satisfied.

I called and spoke to Al about my rear side panel to my SUV having popped out and bottom rear brake light was pushed in. Told me to come in and they took care of me right away. Great service and very pleasant group of people! I would come back here again if I need any work done to my car!

Excellent auto-​body and mechanic experiences, three times in a row.
Al took care of me the first time. My job sent me to repair a work truck that had front and rear body damage. The shop made it look as good as new with little hassle.
I was impressed, so I took my personal Jeep back there for repairs to the paint and body. Steve and Al took care of me, walking me through the insurance process. They explained to me that it would go through the other driver’s insurance, and they were right. They also advocated for me, telling the insurance company what was needed in order to do the job right. Once again, the finished product was like new.
Most recently, I had a mechanical problem where my Jeep was shaking terribly on the road. It became a complicated problem, but Andrew and Al took care of me, fixing the situation.
I highly recommend Central Auto Body for body and mechanical repairs. They will do the job right and be your advocate.

Needed to find a place to get an inspection– no big deal. Everyone was very friendly and i was in and out within 30 mins, max ($ 40). The only caveat: I was told I needed a $ 500 brake job (4 pads, 2 rotors) and that my car was on the verge of not passing inspection. Upon 2^nd opinion from another mechanic, I was told I have at least 10,000 more miles on my pads and that my rotors are in great shape, with minimal and normal signs of environmental impact. I guess this is to be expected in these venues, just be careful and don’t be afraid to seek alternative consultations unless money is not an issue for you. 3 stars for friendly staff, who did in fact pass the car’s inspection and then offered me a reduced quote on the brake overhaul on my way out the door.

Found out about this place about 1 year ago from a friend. I dont live in the area but I will always make sure to bring my car here to get fixed. I have a 2009 VW CC. Al and his team has done nothing but give my top of the line help with the repairs that needed to be done. Ive brought my car here and 2 occasions one being an engine replace, yes an engine replacement. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. I recommend anyone who lives in the Yonkers area that needs repairs done to bring your car here. You wont regret it.

I found out about this place a year ago from a co-​worker after getting a ridiculous $ 5000+ quote to repair my 1997 Jeep Wrangler from the local Chrysler dealer (keep in mind that the darn thing isn’t even worth that much!). I took the Jeep to Al (the owner) at Central Auto Body and told him I’d gotten a quote but didn’t tell him how much it was or what I’d been told I needed to have done. Al got back to me within the same day and had given me almost the same «to do» repairs list as the Chrysler dealer… but for less than half the price and using the same parts and warranty (12-​months, 12k miles). Needless to say, I went with Al. He did all the work in a reasonable amount of time (I was only without my car for a few days) and my Jeep is still chugging along a year later… with almost 177,000 miles on it!
Of course I’ve taken it back to him for all inspections, maintenance, or other additional adjustments during this past year and he always remembers me (even over the phone), is amazingly flexible (will come pick my car up for me after I’ve gone to work and then will have one of his employees pick me up from the train station when I need to get my Jeep back), and is very open about what does and doesn’t need to be done to the Jeep.
Plus he and his team figured out an electrical problem that had been plaguing the Jeep for years and only charged me for the time it took to fix the problem and not the hours of time it took to figure it out!
So if you’re in Westchester and need your car worked on, Al is your man!
