I have been going to Heavenly Bodies for their tanning bed for almost a year now. I can comment that everything is very clean and that everyone that works here is super nice. I am not sure what the girls names are but they are very welcoming and friendly. I remember one time I left my wallet near the tanning bed(stupid me) and they even called me to let me know. Nothing was missing from my wallet even though they had to hold it their overnight since I was already at work when they called. I am very impressed by the tanning services there and love their customer service.

One star for the lovely lady who performed my service, no stars for the service itself. She was nice and kind. I do not remember her name. As for the actual facial itself, horrible. Never would I return for a facial. She basically just steamed my face and washed it… LIGHTLY. As it just so happens this was my pre-vacation facial. I wanted to go to Aruba with a clear glowing complexion. Wrong. While supposedly«extracting» on my face she hardly tried or touched it, and once she did feel she got something out instead of whipping it on a cloth or something she simple just brushed it on to my skin with her fingers. Whats the point of that? Aren’t you just further spreading the gunk i didn’t want on my face? THEN to top it off, it having been an hour long facial, once we were done i was told to «just relax» while she exited the room. I waited for OVER A HALFANHOUR. WHYAM I PAYINGFORANHOURFACIALTOSITIN A ROOMALONEFOROVERHALFTHESERVICE?! I got so annoyed that i called the front desk while i was in the room to ask if anyone had forgotten about me. I left this place FUMING. Paid 75PLUS tip for someone to wash my face, steam it, and make it dirty all over again. never. ever. ever. again.

RATINGSBREAKDOWNFORMASSAGE/FACIAL: 2STARS — OVERALL«spa» experience 3.5STARS — 30 min back massage(can’t do much in ½ hr) 3.5 — 4STARS — facial Tried this place during one of their«specials» which included a 1 hr facial &30 min(back) massage. I can tell you that if you’re into the whole«pampering» experience, this definitely is NOT the place for you! My regular spa is located on Long Island & to say the least… YES, I AMSPOILED! The waiting area: … Is located where the hairdresser’s are working… The day I went in, there was semi-loud dance music playing from a not so perfectly tuned-in radio. The receptionist told me there was coffee, tea & water(from a water cooler — I’m used to pitchers of water with lemon slices… told ya, spoiled), & to help myself. Quite a few«spas» I’ve encountered in the past actually have a changing area &/or at very least, a waiting area separate from the salon section. In my opinion, it sets the mood prior to receiving spa services. The massage: …therapist came out to lead me back to the«spa» area. Now this area was dimly lit with a candle burning & a little couch to sit on. Hmmm… Looked… nice. I was led to a room & told to undress & lay face down. The therapist told me there was a little bench behind the door to put my stuff on. Also, she told me there was a robe for afterwards that I can put on so I can go to the next room for my facial. Up to this point, the massage therapist did not even introduce herself. After she began the massage I asked her what her name was. She was all business & I felt no connection(nothing that left me wanting to come back & see her again)… The back massage was decent. Again, I have always had 1 hour massages so I really didn’t expect a whole lot in 30 minutes. It was about as good as it could get for the time, I guess. There was a lot of the same motions repeated. Nothing extra thrown in. Maybe even some hot towels would’ve been a nice extra to start or end with.(Spoiled…me)! When she was done she told me to put the robe on & I could go to the next room.(Honestly, I don’t know if I got the full 30& I said so when she motioned that she was done, but she said nothing to that)! When I got up, I felt confused. Was I to pick all my stuff up & lug it to another room? This is winter time so there are clothes, shoes & winter jackets, scarves & gloves involved. There wasn’t even a bag given to transport stuff to another area. When I put the robe on, I noticed there was not even a tie for it. So now I had to hold the robe closed AND carry all my shit to another location. Ok… I found this pretty fucking ridiculous! Sorry… I’ve been to Massage Envy(which I was not a huge fan of either) but at LEAST there, once I was changed & settled in for the massage(they didn’t have a dressing room either), the facialist came to the room I was in. I did not have to budge & lug! Again, in normal«spas», the massage therapist is usually waiting outside the door with water in hand. NOT in this place. She did walk over & lead me to the next room over & tell me the girl would be right in. She also said there was a hook on the door to hang my bag & jacket. No bench though so I put my clothes on top of my sneakers along with gloves & scarf on the floor. I felt discombobulated after having to move all my shit & had to double check that I didn’t drop a glove along the way. I don’t know… The facial: …was also pretty decent. I did feel a tad more comfortable with the girl who performed it. She was very nice & checked on me several times to make sure I was ok. A few minor complaints: is when she used the face scrub, she really worked it in for some time. My skin is sensitive so between that & the wiping after each application, it was getting irritating towards the end. Also, when she left while the mask was setting, I found the music to be annoying. It was the soft soothing kind but the vocals(mostly female) were not soothing me at all! I almost would’ve preferred silence or real«spa-like» music(minus the vocals). I felt very antsy towards the end with the music & also I had no neck support & no leg rest(for under the knees) so my feet were dangling & it was getting uncomfortable! After dressing & exiting the room, I found a ghost town. Again, no one waiting to greet me with a glass of water…(SUPER spoiled I am)!! So, it’s safe to say — Heavenly Bodies: …is NOT the spa for me.

I’ve been going to this salon for almost 10 years. I’ve gotten blow outs, manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages, and laser hair removal. Every service I’ve gotten there has been 5 stars!!! Their staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. The place is spotless and there’s plenty of street/meter parking. Eileen is the best for waxing!!! Ask for her!

I have been going to Heavenly Bodies Spa now for over four years and absolutely love it. They are a great full service salon and spa that is local, staffed with lovely people, and moderately priced(compared to other salons in Westechester), and most important… clean and neat! I have had facials and massages with most of the staff and have never left with any complaints. I actually have skin prone to break outs and whenever I have a facial with them I always leave feeling like my skin is glowing. I definitely reccomend their spa services.
