Got a call from the owner regarding my negative review… Cursing me out on the phone because he didn’t like what I had to say… Everything I said here was the truth… you can’t always have positive reviews… they don’t seem to understand how negligent they were and how lucky they are that nobody was killed. The compensation they offered was a slap in the face an I had to basically twist their arm to compensate appropriately.

The guys were quick and helpful. Very good rates and had me in and out in no time. Definitely would recommend this place to others in a heart beat!

Needed new tires for my Acura MDX and decided to try this place. Eddie was very professional and courteous and advised me on a good solid tire to meet my budget. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely bring my Acura TL here next to get new tires.

Prior to coming here I’d go to street mechanics. For all the money I’ve saved, I’ve spent double repairing their mistakes. You definitely get what you pay for. I’ve been coming to wtp for years and they’ve never did me wrong. The prices are fair and their work is legit. Good people

This place has the nerve to recklessly drive their customers cars. And their cameras are conveniently placed where it won’t incriminate their employees. My boyfriend brought his car here for an INSPECTION and left with a nasty scrape. And they were so quick to wipe every last shred of white dust that would indicate it was their wall that did the damage. Don’t bring your car here!!!

Great service, great value, you would not be disappointed. I have been a customer since they opened in 2009, their experience and expertise have always met my expectations as a client and saved me time and money. Not only my wife and I take care of our cars here, but my family and friends as well.

I was referred to this establishment by a coworker. He said, «I went to high school with this guy, they do great work!» That was enough for me, I was sold.
The tread on on my tires were significantly worn, and it was time for me to swap them out. I was lucky enough to purchase 4 great tires off CL at a fraction of what they cost and just wanted them mounted and balanced. Painless I thought, not work I could do myself but imagined, a tire and wheel place this was their bread and butter. One of the tires did need repair because it had a nail in it. I let them repair it since their plug or patch would be far more superior than a simple plug of my own.
I waited longer than I ever expected after poking my head into the shop, but that’s ok, and it didn’t upset me, or effect my poor rating.
The service desk reminded me of that phrase «too many chiefs not enough Indians,» as if they were pretty good at greeting you as you came in, but once you were inside and seated you were lost in the crowd. After a healthy amount of waiting the same gentleman I introduced myself to asked if anyone helped me yet, no I responded (FYI, this was the same gentlemen who I was recommended to, and I of course said hello from our mutual friend)
I waited another 15 or so minutes until my service began. It didn’t seem incredibly busy but I cannot speak of what I am not aware of either. They could have had a dozen cars in the back so I simply won’t assume.
On to my service. My car came out, and the service tech who performed all the work explained what was done in as much detail as I needed. I handed him my standard $ 20 tip, and I was on my way. The only thing that really caught me off guard was that the rims were covered in grease. I’d expect that if I were doing the work but I wasn’t. I understand that the job is dirty but they really looked like crap, and the fact that it was ok to send me on my way left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess I was taught differently, when you do a job, you do it right and you leave your signature on your work.
It would have taken a minute a tire if you were half asleep to spray and wipe the rims. Instead I was made to wait till it was caked on when I got home later that evening.
Thank god I needed to go to the CVS diagonally across from the shop. It was there before turning my car off did I noticed that my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light was on. Simply stated the TPMS is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure inside your tires. I thought to myself well that’s weird, and started googling (of course trying to find my own answers.) Maybe the warning light needs to be reset, maybe it takes a period of time to reset itself. Who am I, that’s why I went to a wheel, and tire shop to begin with. I noticed as I got out of the car that the right rear tire appeared low. I finished what I had to do in CVS, and returned to my car to notice that the same suspect tire was noticeably lower than a couple minutes before. Ugh
I whipped out my handy-​dandy pressure gauge (and not the $ 2 dollar kind) and was perplexed to conclude that each and every friggin tire had a different amount of pressure in it. I’m okay with a few pounds of pressure difference, but they were all blatantly off. Rechecking that low one I knew the tire was actively leaking. Doing a u-​turn, I made my way back, and explained my dilemma. Would you believe (yes you would) that again I sat, and waited another 20 minutes for my car to be taken to be re-​repaired.
In the end I was asked to pay again because they said they missed a puncture, and they had to place another patch on the tire.
I wasn’t okay with them missing the leak, but I can see these things can happen from time to time.
I wasn’t okay with the waiting, and not the initial waiting. It was the waiting after I had already paid, generously tipped, and left part the waiting.
I surely was not ok that each and every one of my tires internal pressure was different.
The cherry on top was the filthy residue that was left on my rims and tires. I’m almost confident that if I would have purchased 4 new rims from this place, they would have been shining brighter than they did when they took delivery of them.
When I do work for anyone, I want them to be asked «where did you get your work done?“I know whatever I touch will be done with pride and the job will be done right.
Please care about your work, because I care about who is doing mine.

This review was going to be 1 star, however, Frank has redeemed my faith. I needed a tire immediately. I prefer chain stores, but since this place was close I called and Frank told me he didn’t have Bridgestone Potenzas, but he could offer me something else and do the job immediately. True to his word, the job was done in ½ hour and I had 2 new General Altimax tires. They were much cheaper but good. As fate would have it, 11 mos. later –New Year’s Eve, I needed another tire (my old Potenzas), so I figured I’d go back. I wanted the same Generals I had bought before. They guy on the phone (not Frank) said yes and he could do it right away. When I got there, he did the old «bait and switch» and I had to take Fuzion (never heard of them, but I needed something). Those tires were complete garbage but it took me months to figure it out. I had the car aligned, wheels balanced, checked the suspension, etc. It got to the point that the wheel shook at 55 – 60 mph, and every bump felt like a pothole. I figured I’d just deal with it until I could get new tires, given so much time had passed. Finally, a friend suggested I put them on the back. What a difference! I was so annoyed by the whole thing, I fired off an e-​mail late Sunday night. Yesterday, 8:45 I got a call from Frank, apologizing and offering to replace them! I was stunned as this was months after the fact (just for the record I had put 32,000 miles on the Generals, which still ride great — and only 8,000 on the Fuzions — trash). I was in the shop the next day and the job was done in 20 min. I was impressed that Frank didn’t brush me off with an apology and tell me too bad, or charge me a couple hundred bucks for new tires. I’ll take Wheel & Tire Depot over Mavis, any day! I gave them 4 stars because of that loser I dealt with before, but if I need tires, I’ll go back (if Frank’s there).

FEMALES BEWARE! I’ve always been told to bring a man to a mechanic But I’ve never listened and never had a problem before going here. I received a quote over the phone but when I arrived the price was higher. I told the guy the price I was given and he did agree To give me the tires at that price. They offered to give me a discount if I paid in cash so obviously I judged their character as they were clearly trying to avoid taxes. Now my biggest problem with this place is after they did my tires they told me my brakes were absolutely gone. They told me I needed front and rear brakes and new rotors which was going to cost me close to $ 1000. They showed me some breaks that where apparently mine that were absolutely down to the metal. Then they told me that I should call my father or my boyfriend to find the money assuming that I 1. could not afford to pay it myself and 2. that I needed a man to help me. I’m a 27-​year-​old woman who pays my own bills and does not need daddy to tell me what I need to fix my car. Long story short I decided not to get the brakes although they continued to try to convince me how un safe my car was to drive. I took my car to Mavis the next day and was told my brakes were fine. I also had my car inspected about two months later and my brakes and rotors passed. Clearly these guys were looking to make an easy buck and saw me as easy target. Sorry guys!
I gave two stars because they really do have the lowest price tires around. However they’re unprofessional and are looking to take advantage when they can.

I will not go over every single detail as far as my experience, just what matters. I have used this place several times and to be short and sweet. «I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for Rims or tires and various other services. They do Alignments and other services as well. The prices are great and if you have a budget let them know what that is and they will try their best to take care of you. This is a individually owned business and i am glad that i can help support a local business
that provides great products and customer service. I know that a lot of you are thinking «things are cheaper on the internet» Yes, but not by much as far as wheels and tires and i doubt that if any of us had issues with a internet purchase that 1-​we would want to remove and ship our tires or wheels. 2-​we could get a phone rep to do it for us. Check these guys out! I really believe that you will be glad that you did.

These guys really went the extra mile for me. They sold me a set of tires at a very competitive price. I was thinking of ordering the tires online but realized that in the end there was no difference between their price and the online places.

Wheel & Tire Depot has good prices on some great tires that are sometimes better than Tire Rack and other online tire stores. It’s also nice that mounting and balancing are included in the tire price. However, you have to call ahead to get good tires shipped from their warehouse to their store. Their in stock selection is terrible.
Unfortunately I had hit a massive set of potholes that punctured one tire and produced a bubble on another. I hit up Wheel & Tire to replace the whole set of four. They were able to get good tires at decent prices, but I’d have to wait a day or two for them to ship. Their in-​stock items were pretty old and also very expensive. Since I wanted to get this over with, I elected to go with what was in stock. The guy went through his available inventory and none were good (I eventually went with a tire that Tire Rack last reviewed in 2005 and has been replaced). 1,000 miles later and I still wish I had waited for the tires to ship and taken taxis around instead.
Also, the guys missed a very obvious crack in one rim, even when I told them explicitly to check for them since I had hit potholes. I had found it out later when my new tire was flat; I took it off and saw the 1-​inch crack for myself. Finally, their alignment made one wheel’s negative camber a degree further away from factory settings than it was before; it was even in the before-​and-​after alignment specs they handed to me.
For a specific function, namely sourcing certain tires at good prices, these guys are great. I’d come back here to order cheap tires for delivery and have them mounted and balanced. I’d then go to another shop to get an alignment and check their work.

I needed tires, wheel alignment/​balancing, oil change and some tune-​up on both my cars. It’s hard to know who to trust especially in this type of business.
I was completely satisfied with Wheel Tire Depot. First, it’s clean and well organized. They have a welcoming waiting area for customers to enjoy fully equipped with flat screen TV. They have stellar customer service. They were willing to answer all of my questions and walked me through the entire process. The competitive prices were the best part. I have gone other places to get the some of the same work done and paid a lot more. At Wheel Tire Depot I got great quality at an excellent price.
