Ron is the best trainer I have ever met. He cares about the dog and our relationship with the dog, not just training the dog. I highly recommend him for any dog training you may need.

We adopted an energetic Labradoodle of 3 mos old — neither of us had had a young pup for many, many years and knew we needed help fast! We’d gotten a couple of recommendations but chose Ron from Dogwood K9 and, prayers answered! We are on our way to having a well-​behaved puppy thanks to Ron’s very upbeat, positive approach to training and behavior modification techniques – yes, he was training us to enable us to handle our girl! We opted for private training but plan to follow up with one of his group classes as well in the near future. We highly recommend Ron!!!

We arranged individual classes with Ron because of our travel schedule. He was flexible scheduling with us due to our travels. He is passionate about dog training & gave is lots of training techniques that were fun for Oliver and produced the desired behavior. His training made sense! On top of that, he’s a nice guy!

Ron Bevacqua is the best dog trainer I have ever worked with. He truly loves dogs, and that shows in his calm, gentle teaching methods. And he is also the least expensive dog trainer I have ever worked with. His rates are very reasonable.
I rescued a one-​year-​old pit bull from death row at a shelter. She was a mess when I got her. Three years later, after taking several of Ron’s classes, my dog has confidence and self-​esteem. She knows many commands, is well-​behaved, has been licensed as a therapy dog, and has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. All this from a dog who pancaked on her bed the entire time in her very first class with Ron.
My only regret: not having known about Ron when I had my previous dog!
