Another AWESOME job topping, thinning out and shaping my large Eugenia tree. Reliable Tree Service is by far the most professional I’ve ever had or seen. I’ve employed their services prior and was extremely satisfied. True arborists. Dave, the owner is very knowledgeable, caring, accommodating, affordable and reliable. Dave is great… Almost too thorough, don’t hear that often with contractors. Have used him for various projects. His company does more than trees. Really good, nice crew. Pretty much same crew always. You don’t want someone that changes crew often. Very efficient and best of all, a fair price. If your getting estimates, put him on your list! I have not lived in Yorba Linda long, new the state. It’s nice to find a honest contractor.

I found Dave on Google first (and then I heard him mentioned through Facebook — Yorba Linda Buzz) and got a quote from him and two other companies. I found out that getting prices on cutting palm trees was extremely subjective!
I really liked Dave though. He came over, he knew exactly what he was doing, he knew the very complicated tree names, and was very easy to talk to. He assured me that he had workers comp insurance, and all that good stuff, and gave me a fair price. We talked about it a bit and then I was sold.
His crew came over when it worked out for me. They were super nice and friendly and did everything in a few hours. They cleaned up well. My husband and I had a disagreement on how exactly we wanted a certain tree cut and they did it my way. :) So if you are particular, you may have to watch over the guys cutting the trees if the project manager is not around watching their every movement. :) It looks great though and I’m super happy! (My husband was a little sad the tree in front only had a few leaves on it but really, you are supposed to cut the trees in winter! It grows back!)
I would recommend Dave for any yard ‘stuff’. He’s solid!

We had Dave’s crew do a major trim on our weeping willow tree. Previous trimmers did a haphazard job. Reliable tree service lived up to their name. We love the look of the tree now and are elated about the view of our house. We recently had the front yard landscaped and we needed to trim away the large tree to appreciate the look of the hardscape. Dave’s suggested approach and the crew’s expertise made all the difference.

I am trying to remove couple trees in my side yard. I called and made an appointment for him come to my house and give me an estimate. He never showed up and did not call me to say why he missed the appointment.

I will begin with what my project included: multiple tree removal, colored bark removal (covered my entire backyard), landscape demo, shed removal, grading, sprinkler and irrigation removal/​installation, build of a retaining wall, and sod installation. I can not say when doing my research Dave and Co. was the cheapest on the market. I acquired approximately 4 other quotes from various companies in the area. I can say that from the beginning I was most comfortable with Dave. None of the others understood what I was trying to do, and actually asked me questions about the project. Dave was very knowledgable and understood what I needed done. I wanted the job done right, so I went with Dave.
During the project, Dave’s crew worked very hard and left my backyard clean every single day. There was a point when temperatures reached 100+ degrees, but Dave and his guys still showed up and worked hard. I was very impressed by his crew, and their work ethic. Throughout the process, Dave would take the time to talk and explain what was done that day. He would offer suggestions and made an effort to do things exactly the way I wanted it.
The finished product was amazing. It was exactly what I envisioned, and exactly what Dave promised he would do. The service did not stop there. Dave made it a point to come and check on the newly installed sod, weeks after installation was completed. If I had questions, Dave was always available for a phone call and was hasty with a response if he was busy.
I can not say enough about how happy I am with choosing this company, and will use Reliable Tree Service and Landscaping for future projects.

The whole project started when I called Dave to give us a bid for trimming the giant pine trees in our backyard in October. He came out promptly and gave us a good bid (we had used him for this service a few years ago). I called him back on 10÷30÷13 and gave him the go-​ahead to do the trimming & landscape removal. His guys were there early the next morning and before the day was done they had trimmed all the trees and removed 2 ficus trees and a bunch of overgrown plant material in the planters. They even removed a bunch of pine needles from our aluminum patio cover. I also had him spray-​kill the existing lawn in preparation for a complete re-​landscape of the backyard, and got a good bid for the concrete/​flagstone & electrical work needed to prepare a place for a new above-​ground spa we had ordered. He hooked us up with a good electrician who advised us on running the new power line for the spa, and his guys finished the prep work in plenty of time for the spa delivery on 11÷21÷13.
Next, his guys removed the old (now dead) lawn, put in all-​new irrigation (which was impossible before the removal of the Ficus trees) and ran the necessary plumbing to the water main at the front of the house. Then they put in a nice assortment of drought-​resistant plants in the planters and a new Marathon I sod lawn, with a new sprinkler timer that could handle the additional watering zones.
Finally, on ¹²⁄₁₈ and ¹²⁄₁₉ he came by and pressure-​washed our entire backyard masonry & concrete, and also the front driveway, walkway and garage door. Everything was completed on budget and on time for our family Christmas party on 12÷21÷13.
I would highly recommend Reliable Tree Service for all of the services they performed at my property.

Fast, great clean up! I asked for rush service and they were there the next morning. Entire crew work fast and made sure they did not disturb the yard! I will be having them do your annual tree trimming.
