Lost a button during cleaning and they wont replace it complimentary! Got the wrong shirt given back to me and still went back only to have two more buttons broken

Just moved to Yorba Linda. I just wanted good quality service at a fair price and I’ve found exactly that. I know people usually only come on Unilocal to complain when they have one bad experience but I thought I would write a positive review for a business that deserves it. I spend a fortune on my clothes and I trust them with them. Once I took my stuff to a cheapy place across the street to save a few bucks and their quality was horrible. That’s why my wife and I come to Tip Top and will continue to support this family owned business.

I used to go here all the time but recently stumbled across sever price gouging. We paid $ 150 for our dry cleaning, where the same load cost $ 50 at the standard dry cleaner. I hate writing negative reviews, but I feel it’s needed considering how terrible my experience was versus expectations.

Our family has been using this dry cleaners for about 20 years, same family owners, same great quality, same friendly service, and we’ve NEVER had a problem. They couldn’t be nicer or care more about doing a great job. Truly a quality neighborhood business.

Since Villa Cleaners in the TJ’s shopping center closed down, I decided to check this place out. They did a much better job than Villa Cleaners, in cleaning my husband’s suit, as well as a couple of dresses for me. All of our clothes smelled good and were neatly pressed. Also, the employees spoke fluent English, were young, and super friendly!
So, why the 4 stars? I understand that a lot of other people experienced some pretty great prices here, but I thought the pricing for all of our items was still kinda steep. I expected a bit more, considering it was my first time visit, although I understand they need to stay in business too. Just kinda had hoped they would make me a repeat customer, but oh wells — I still would probably come back here if I had dry cleaning needs!

I moved in the neighborhood a few years ago and have been a customer of theirs for at least 2 years. After trying many other over priced dry cleaners in the neighborhood, I came across Tip Top Cleaners one Saturday afternoon when I went to Tio Chava’s (the restaurant next door) for lunch.
They have great deals for new customers so I quickly decided to bring a few blouses that needed cleaning/​ironing to try’em out. The quality and the service was great, which made me a regular. The owner, Mr. Salim learned my name right away and have never lost an article of my clothing.
I am definitely a fan of the dry cleaners. The service is fast, efficient, and they know me well! :)

This place is awesome. Dry cleaning is very important to me because of my job. My shits need to be perfect for work. Being new to town, I dropped off some brand new shirts here to be laundered. The shirts were still in the packages and the owner took the time to assist me in removing all of the pins and packaging so that they could be laundered. That took awhile and it was definitely above and beyond.
When I came back to pick up the shirts, I brought in some pants to be hemmed. Omar helped me with the measuring and marking and he was extremely polite and very gracious. When I went to pay for the cleaning, the bill was very low and I only had my credit card. They explained that they do not like to sue a card for anything under $ 20.00. Instead of asking me to go get cash from a machine, they told me I could just pay for everything the next time I return. WOW! Does anyone give excellent customer service like that anymore? I was duly impressed. I now have an official dry cleaner for my new address in Orange County. I could not give a business a more enthusiastic endorsement.
