What an amazing place. The tour was fantastic. David and his son David have created quite the business. My husband and I loved hearing the behind the scene stories and trial/errors of running a distillery. They are only going to get bigger and better once they move to their newer larger location. A must do if you are in the area!

A few friends and I decided to take a day trip up to York and visit Wiggly Bridge Distillery for a tour. Although the distillery itself is a small operation(apparently they’re getting ready to expand to a second location), it contributed to an intimate and personal environment that was really unique! You could tell the owner(Dave) was extremely passionate about his craft, and he was both entertaining and informative during the tour. He let us taste different stages of some of the batches, which was great. Dave did a wonderful job explaining the general process of creating a great rum, whiskey, etc… as well as what he and his son do differently to make their products unique(and extremely tasty). Unsurprisingly, the tasting portion was our favorite part. Dave explained how to really taste and note the complexities of each(while still cracking jokes and keeping us laughing). I’m not much a whiskey gal, but Wiggly Bridge might have convinced me otherwise. Also, you can’t beat $ 3 cocktails! If you’re ever in York and want something fun and interesting to do, definitely stop by Wiggly Bridge! On a side note, we were telling Dave we were on a quest for good lobster rolls(preferably somewhere with indoor seating because it was an oddly blustery June day). He actually called up his son-in-law who owns a café a few stores down and asked him to whip up some fresh lobster rolls chock full of meat. They were delicious! Will definitely be coming back to both the distillery and café!

Excellent small batch distiller in York Beach. When we arrived, we were told all their tours were booked full through the weekend. The owner was very friendly and he had us come back a short time later and the gave us a private tour of the facility. They were very knowledgeable and take great care in producing good products. I bought a small bottle of the baby bourbon, which was very good. The rum was also very good, with a buttery Carribean style flavor to it. We also bought a couple of small mixed drinks(Dark and Stormy and the Pain Killer). Both were very good cocktails. If you want a tour, make sure you book it through facebook long in advance. We were told that the entire weekend in June was booked over the winter, but they were nice enough to fit us in during the working part of their day.

Lady at the front desk is great. Plus the whiskey is amazing. A regular when I’m in ME. They also sell small drinks to keep the buzz going

Stopped in for a tasting this weekend and had to buy a bottle of Baby Bourbon for my wife who usually does not get excited about whiskey. The White Whiskey is also very good, but my budget is limited. I was particularly interested to hear about the new products that we can expect over the upcoming months and years. The owner is clearly very knowledgeable and puts great care into these products.

Awesome addition to downtown York! They opened less than a year ago and currently offer rye whiskey and baby bourbon(aged 10 months) in various bottle sizes. Prices range from $ 30 for rye to $ 90 for a large bottle of the baby bourbon. They are coming out with rum next month! Every day they offer free tastings and you can also buy $ 4 mixed drinks. Friendly staff, not sure how long this location would be open because the manager said they are moving to a bigger space soon. They are also partnering with local restaurants in Maine and New Hampshire so look out for it on your bar menus. I’m not a whiskey expert but I thought the offerings tasted great. It’s definitely a welcome gift shopping alternative as compared to the cheesy ‘I love Maine’ shirts I usually dole out.
