History

Established in 2007.

After years of working behind a desk, I realized that my mind was becoming mush and I needed some challenges in my life. If it were not for the support of my husband, I never would have started Lighthearted Events.

I have a passion for travel; I absolutely love the excitement of seeing something I’ve never seen before (same is true with events). Planning events and seeing my clients enjoy their special occasions has been more rewarding than I ever dreamed. My approach with my clients is a well-​balanced combination of serious and «lighthearted» because if we aren’t having fun and enjoying the planning of the event, what’s the point?

This is me; lover of raw foods… sushi and chocolate chip cookie dough, what did you think? I have a knack for making up words which drives my husband crazy, but he secretly loves it. I am a wife, a sister, an aunt, and a mother to my four-​legged children. I grew up, and currently live in Central PA.
