They seam to be out of things i order a lot which i can understand occcasionally but this happens often. the french rolls are usually not around for sandwiches in the afternoon and when they are nobody knows how to make the chicken bacon ranch sandwich witch is good when it was made right but i think they have taken it off the menu now. The line for the drive thru in the morning moves pretty quickly which is good,

Every time I come here there’s a problem. It shouldn’t be so hard to get a sausage, egg & cheese on a TOASTED bagel! One star is too many!

Okay so as I stand here at 7am, the drive thru is almost to the street and inside there are over 10 on line… at 7am. 2 people working the counter and 5 working the window. But everyone is talking to each other and have seemed to have forgotten about the 2 dozen people looking to get breakfast on their way to work. I was in the restaurant business so I know a little about customer service and getting food to people at a decent time. But how hard is it to make a cup of coffee grab a bagel and a donut off the shelf and headed to a customer? This is 54 the worst run Dunkin Donuts I have been to

Service was great, friendly and quick. They had a little fly problem going on the day I was there though… I noticed they were all around the muffins and donuts which made me hesitant to have anything other than my coffee. It was kind of cold that day too, so I’m not sure what the fly problem was about, but the caramel cappuccino I got was fine.

I’ve had my fair share of morning coffees and lazy afternoon coffees here since it’s one of few DDs in the area that has a drive-thru. [ We are such a lazy society, I know I take in part too sometimes. Sadly guilty.] Overall I can’t say that they ever screwed up an order yet so that’s a plus. People are friendly in the morning too. Only downside is that the traffic to get here is hella ridic bc of construction and the taconic entrance nearby up the hill = morning commuters galore. The lines can get HUGE in the morning too if you happen to arrive at certain times. So if you want fast morning coffee on the way to work, your better bet is to try a place with no drive thru, and not on the 202 strip leading to the highway.

It’s no big secret that I’m not a fan of DD’s coffee — i even have it posted in my profile — yet for some reason I keep coming back and drinking it. I am a caramel latte drinker. Dunkin makes theirs very weak, almost tastes watered down — which it can’t be because a latte is made of milk. With that said I discovered their caramel cappuccino which is pretty decent, so that is what I stick to. Today hubby and I ordered 2 drinks totaling $ 4.89 at the drive through. I paid with a $ 5 and got back $.06… I got shorted $.05 — now I don’t normally complain about something petty like this, but since this is Unilocal I felt I should add this in…(Not that this is a big deal because its only 5 cents but if that happens to every car, this cashier will be making some extra ‘tips’)
