OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones

My nephew’s birthday party was here and we all had an amazing time.
⁵⁄₅ The Facility — This place is an incredible, science-​based, hands-​on center for kids to explore, learn, and have fun. The staff is very helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. Kids could explore the exhibits (with adult supervision) or participate In hands-​on activities led by the Oh Wow facilitators. Although I don’t know the age range, I’d say the target group would be between 5 – 10.
⁵⁄₅ Party Room — The facility is equipped with a very nice party room in the basement. It can comfortably hold about 40 people and is set-​up with tables and chairs. There is even a little kitchen for food prep and easy clean-​up. I particularly liked how each table was covered with white paper that the kiddos could draw on. Oh Wow even provided cups of crayons for this free of charge. My nephew and several of guests got a kick out of the big box of Legos which captivated them for quite a while.

This places was way better than I expected. I brought two boys, 3 and 5, and they didn’t want to leave. We were there for three hours. They have water activities, ball/​vacuum area, magnets, hurricane simulator, music areas, huge play kitchen, aviation area with real airplane and paper airplane shooter. There are many more exhibits, and we didn’t do it all. They were also doing gingerbread houses but we didn’t have time for that. The place was clean and well kept. Pizza place next door.

Very fun! Kind of small but reasonably priced. Both my 11 year old and 7 year old enjoyed it very much. The basement has an interactive room where the kids can work on projects, learn to dye cut, use a lathe, make crafts, and run circuits to generate electricity. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
