A 1966 graduate of Willow Run High School, Dr. Glencer earned a full academic scholarship to Michigan State University where he graduated with honor from the veterinary school in 1972. He first practiced from 1972 to 1974 at Ann Arbor Animal Hospital, then practiced in Orange County, California from 1975 to 1981, before returning to his home town in 1982 to manage Ypsilanti Animal Clinic.
